Betty Ruthe Richards
Betty Ruthe Richards, 75, of Grove City, formerly of Slippery Rock, died at 10:34 p.m. Tuesday at Grove Manor.
Born May 22, 1932, in Butler County, she was the daughter of William Chester and Grace Alberta Shealy Thompson.
She was a book keeper for many Grove City businesses, as well as a sales representative for Direct Sales Home Interiors.
She was an avid roller skater and reader, and also enjoyed computer games, crossword puzzles and playing cards.
Surviving are her husband, Walter Wayne Richards of Grove City; three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Caroline Gay) DeMarsh of Grove City, Peggy Jo Richards of Grove City and Mrs. Mark (Andrea) Isacco of Grove City; a son, Donald W. Richards of Butler; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Philip (Peggy) Krisko of Boyers.
She was preceded in death by a son, William. D. Richards, who died June 20, 1998, and a sister, Mrs. Bob (Gladis) Hodge of Grove City.
<B>RICHARDS</B>— A small memorial service for Betty Ruthe Richards, who died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Grove Manor Nursing Home Chapel, Grove City, for family and close friends. The Rev. Richard C. Nero of Southern Care Hospice will officiate.
