Jeffers

Phyllis Loretta Jeffers, 85, of Gibsonia, Richland Township, formerly of Adrian, Pa., passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday evening, Sept. 1, 2026.

Born in Kittanning on July 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Elvie Alberta Johns Jeffers Sybert and the stepdaughter of the late William Henry Sybert.

Phyllis enjoyed word search puzzles and watching “The Price is Right.”

Surviving are her brothers, Vincent M. Jeffers, of Adrian, Pa. and Vernon W. Sybert and his wife, Cynthia, of Indiana, Pa.; many cousins; and a close friend, Melvina Rapp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Jeffers, on Oct. 2, 1958, and Oral A. Sybert, who died on Feb. 15, 2015.

JEFFERS — Friends of Phyllis Loretta Jeffers, who died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 4 p.m.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery.
