Wednesday — Alexander J. Humes, 20, of Butler was charged with stealing from his employer, Dick’s Sporting Goods at Greenwood Plaza, after an investigation last week.
Police said Humes on four separate days removed a total of $345 from a cashier’s drawer. He is charged with misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property.
3:34 p.m. Monday — A 13-year-old Butler Intermediate High School student, a boy, allegedly punched another student, a 15-year-old girl, on a bus. Police said they charged the boy with disorderly conduct. The girl was not injured.
3:14 p.m. Monday — Evan K. Boring, 19, of West Sunbury was caught with suspected marijuana after a one-vehicle wreck on Route 422 west just before the Lyndora exit.
Police said the teen lost control of his car while changing lanes. The vehicle struck an embankment and ended up on its roof. Boring suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
Officers investigating the accident found an Under Armour bag containing suspected marijuana, according to a police report. Boring is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving at an unsafe speed.
7:29 p.m. Friday — Mark A. Musser, 39, of Butler was nabbed for allegedly shoplifting 32 items valued at a combined $103.21 from the Walmart at Butler Commons. He is charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft.
[naviga:h3]State Park Rangers[/naviga:h3]
Oct. 17 — Judy L. Kradel, 60, of Center Township was charged with drunken driving last month at Moraine State Park in Brady Township.
At about 8:50 p.m. Sept. 29 a ranger for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources found Kradel lying in the front passenger seat of a vehicle parked along West Liberty Road, according to court documents. The road is in the park and the park was closed.
The ranger noticed open containers of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle and he suspected Kradel had been drinking. She was taken to the state police barracks for a breath test, which showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.139 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.
In addition to driving under the influence, Kradel is charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with a vehicle with open containers of alcohol.

2:51 a.m. Tuesday — An unknown thief beat a hasty retreat after being confronted by the owner of a vehicle he had broken into on Portman Road in Summit Township. The 57-year-old victim reported that coin change was taken in the theft.
According to a police report, the suspect is 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a thin build. No other description was provided. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.
Friday — A Slippery Rock teenager was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop last month in Slippery Rock Township. Police said they pulled over 19-year-old Killian D. Badstibner at about 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 30, after he passed a marked patrol car with his high beams on.
Badstibner appeared impaired, according to court documents, and when a trooper asked for his driver’s license he handed over his Slippery Rock University identification.
He failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a breath test that showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.067 percent. Under state law, drivers younger than 21 who have a level of more than 0.02 percent are considered intoxicated.
In addition to driving under the influence Badstibner is charged with DUI by a minor, failing to use low beams, failing to carry his driver’s license and careless driving.
Thursday — Police obtained an arrest warrant for a Clarion County teenager accused in a shoplifting-turned-robbery earlier this month at Boscov’s in Clearview Mall in Center Township.
The defendant, Braden T. Stevenson, 18, of East Brady, was spotted at about 7 p.m. Oct. 6, allegedly trying make off with $214 worth of merchandise, according to court documents. He was taken to the loss prevention office but subsequently shoved an employee into a door and fled the store after being told police had been contacted.
Stevenson is charged with robbery, retail theft, harassment and disorderly conduct.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Franklin[/naviga:h3]
11:28 p.m. Monday — One person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in Emlenton. The crash happened when David E. Woods, 60, of Emlenton lost control of his car on Kerr Avenue at Myrtle Street.
The car slid on the rain-soaked road and crossed into the opposing lane. Kelly L. Morrison, 40, of Emlenton swerved her pickup truck but was unable to avoid the collision.
Morrison, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with unknown injury that did not appear to be serious. Woods’ car had to be towed.
The Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Mercer[/naviga:h3]
Saturday — A Grove City man reported that several firearms and a television were taken in a burglary at a home he owns in Findley Township. The break-in happened between Sept. 23 and Saturday.
The 63-year-old victim told police that he had recently been doing construction projects at the house.
He said when he returned to the home he discovered a door had been pried open.
A police report noted that there are no leads and the investigation continues.
