Rotary Club of Slippery Rock sponsoring blood drive

The Rotary Club of Slippery Rock is sponsoring a blood drive Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Center Presbyterian Church in the borough.
The blood drive will be held from noon to 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the church at 211 Center St. People donating blood will receive a $25 Amazon gift card while supplies last.

The country’s summer blood supply is the lowest it’s been in four years, according to the American Red Cross. Additional blood drives are planned for Wednesdays at the church Oct. 7 and Dec. 2.
