Police reports as of July 30

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

July 17 — Matthew George Born, 44, of Valencia, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an April 2 traffic stop. Police said Born showed signs of impairment and had three bags of white powder, two suspected Xanax bars, a pill press, three used needles, five glass smoking devices, two electric vape pens, one dropper and three butane lighters.

Butler

July 16 — Tyler Duane Smith, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor misbranding a controlled substance following a July 16 incident. Police said Smith had suspected controlled substance residue and related paraphernalia.

July 20 — Zachary Michael Young, 25, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor harassment following a July 19 incident. Police said Young caused annoyance by repeatedly attempting to contact a woman.

July 21 — John Jameel Jackson, 49, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a July 20 incident. Police said Jackson shoved and struck a woman and was yelling.

July 21 — Kimberly D. Heard, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a July 20 incident. Police said Heard struck a woman in the upper body.

Butler Twp

July 21 — John Paul Campbell, 55, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 22 incident. Police said Campbell had a glass smoking pipe.

July 21 — Eric Ronald Slupe, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license following a May 23 incident. Police said Slupe was driving on a suspended license.

Grove City

July 21 — Michele Stella, 43, of Harrisville, was charged with felony theft following an April 14 incident. Police said Stella falsely claimed she was the winner of a gun raffle.

July 23 — Karly Franasiak, 33, of Boyers, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a July 4 crash. Police said Franasiak showed signs of impairment.

Middlesex Twp

July 22 — Patrick Eugene Cuomo, 33, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a July 18 traffic stop. Police said Cuomo showed signs of impairment.

July 22 — Ryan Hale Sefton, 46, of Cabot, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 14 traffic stop. Police said Sefton had a blood alcohol content of 0.249%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Penn Twp

July 16 — John Paul Muska, 64, of Mars, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 26 traffic stop. Police said Muska tested positive for cocaine.

State police, Butler

July 15 — Louis E. Nesbitt, 43, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following July 9 and 15 incidents in Winfield Township. Police said Nesbitt punched a woman twice.

July 20 — Chaz Levi Wentworth, 39, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault following a July 17 incident in Center Township. Police said Wentworth shoved and attempted to strangle a man.

July 20 — Corbyn Glaister-Wentworth, 18, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a July 17 incident in Center Township. Police said Glaister-Wentworth punched a man in the face.

July 21 — Heather Marie Jones, 39, of East Brady, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 25 traffic stop in Chicora. Police said Jones tested positive for THC.

July 21 — Hunter Steven Dittmer, 27, of Altoona, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of false identification to law enforcement and controlled substance possession following a July 3 traffic stop in Summit Township. Police said Dittmer provided a false name and had a bag of suspected crack.

July 21 — Nicole E. Richards, 27, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor harassment following a July 19 incident in Summit Township. Police said Richards ignored commands from police to stop contacting a man.

July 21 — Ethan Scott Sarver, 23, of Prospect, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 5 crash in Center Township. Police said Sarver had a blood alcohol content of 0.159%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Zelienople

July 17 — Phillip David Lavelle Powell, 50, of East Pittsburgh, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor controlled substance possession following a May 25 traffic stop. Police said Powell had Xanax and tested positive for fentanyl, cocaine and THC.
