Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Township

Oct. 13 — Tyler A. Sachs, 28, of Mars, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with two grams of suspected marijuana, eight grams of suspected mushrooms, suspected cocaine, a glass pipe and a bong.

Butler City

Oct. 10 — Richard J. Brown, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft from a vehicle. Police said he entered several vehicles that were not his and removed items.

Butler Township

Oct. 15 — Adriana C. Ferreira-Causil, 37, of Camron, West Virginia, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $775 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Oct. 12 — Rickey B. Cohen, 51, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he left Walmart with $313 worth of merchandise without paying for it and was found with 12 hypodermic needles.

Cranberry Township

Oct. 17 — Brittany M. Smith, 34, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony theft. Police said she failed to make three deposits while employed at Pita My Shawarma.

Oct. 12 — Carmen Zambrano, 78, of Glenshaw, was charged with two counts of felony theft. Police said he left Home Depot with two tools without paying for them.

Oct. 11 — Kevin C. Humble, 58, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Oct. 1 on Route 19. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.264%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 11 — Layla J. Kent, 30, of Canal Fulton, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanor communications to 911. Police said she contacted the 911 dispatch center asking to speak to an officer 31 times in one month.

Penn Township

Oct. 16 — Patrick M. Norris, 51, of Moon Township, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks. Police said he wrote a check with insufficient funds.

Saxonburg Borough

Oct. 15 — Gregory J. Blysone, 30, of Butler, was charged with felony theft and misdemeanor unauthorized use of motor vehicles. Police said he drove a vehicle without permission.

State police, Butler

Oct. 16 — Alfonzo B. Pratt, 45, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a suspected marijuana blunt.

Oct. 13 — Andrew C. Sykes, 32, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment in one case and misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia in another case. Police said he wrapped his arms around someone’s neck and was later found with suspected gabapentin and empty marijuana bags.

Oct. 13 — James S. Watterson, 43, of Emlenton, was charged with felony theft of a secondary metal and two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed scrap metal from a property without permission.

Oct. 11 — James E. Baney, 51, of Zelienople, was charged with six counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Route 19, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.119% with traces of benzoylecgonine and cocaine. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 11 — Cambree R. Kosich, 24, of Evans City, was charged with six counts of misdemeanor after police stopped her July 4 on Route 19, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety test showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.130% with traces of THC. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 11 — Nicholis J. Herschk, 36, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him July 3 on Route 19, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.
