Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Buffalo Twp

Feb. 27 — Jerry R. Berger, 73, of Cabot, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence after police said he crashed his vehicle Jan. 4 on Ekastown Road. Police said he showed signs of impairment and a later blood test showed Berger’s blood alcohol content at 0.224%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler City

Feb. 27 — Christopher A. Chuhra, 42, of Slippery Rock, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police stopped him June 19, 2022, on East Fulton Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed Chuhra’s blood alcohol content at 0.17%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler County Detectives

Feb. 24 — John R. Lutz, 21, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found in possession of three stamp bags of an unknown substance.

Butler Twp

Feb. 26 — Walter M. Wojichowski, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and several traffic citations after police said he crashed his vehicle on Bartley Avenue. Police said he showed signs of impairment.

Feb. 24 — Kimberly Hodak, 56, and Tammy Whitmire, 60, both of Butler, were involved in a vehicle accident on North Duffy Road. Police said Hodak lost control of her vehicle and struck Whitmire’s vehicle.

Cranberry Twp

Feb. 27 — Mark A. Michenzi, 61, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors drug possession, possession of a criminal instrument and summary theft. Police said he used fraudulent codes at Walmart to purchase items at a lesser cost and was found in possession of marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.

Middlesex Twp

Feb. 27 — Evan L. Huber, 24, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police stopped him on Pittsburgh Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in Huber’s blood.

State police, Butler

Feb. 27 — Tyler P. Baptie, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor false identification to an officer. Police said he gave a false name to officers. Baptie was arrested on an active warrant.

Feb. 27 — Edward J. Ednacheski, 63, of Portersville, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Butler Flea Market with $200 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Feb. 26 — Marlene Skelley, 80, Dennis Anderson, 62, and Kaylin Homa, 19, all of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at Mercer and East Brewster roads, Center Township. Police said Skelley made a turn onto Brewster Road, striking Anderson’s and Homa’s vehicles.

Feb. 25 — Shawn P. Jackson, 55, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, was involved in a vehicle accident on Cherry Valley Road, Clinton Township. Police said he overcompensated while making a left-hand turn, and his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

Feb. 24 — Nasser N. Hoghoughi, 57, of Butler, was charged with felony criminal trespass. Police said he entered a residence without permission.

Feb. 24 — Clinton Connors, 42, of Grove City, was charged with misdemeanors trespassing and disorderly conduct. Police said he caused a disturbance at a Sheetz in Center Township.

Feb. 24 — Angela K. Hausman, 43, of Red Hill, Montgomery County, was charged with misdemeanors identity theft and false identification to an officer. Police said she provided a fake ID to officers.
