John R. Neff
John R. Neff, 45, of Bonniebrook Road, Butler, died Sunday at his home.
Born Aug. 5, 1963, in Butler, he was the son of Madeline "Sis" Weiland Neff and the late James E. "Ed" Neff.
John was a graduate of Butler High School and had attended the Johnstown Business School.
John helped in his family's business, Neff's Country Store and Video, since 1990. He was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center and the East Butler Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved music, especially the Rolling Stones.
Surviving are his mother, Madeline "Sis" Neff; three brothers and their wives, Larry and Kay Neff, Gary and Nancy Neff, and Douglas Neff, all of Butler; two sisters, Carol Neff Rottman and Connie Severino, both of Butler; eight nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; and his godson, Ryan Neff.
A brother, Francis J. "Fritz" Neff, preceded him in death Sept. 29, 2008. A sister, Diana Lynn Neff, preceded him in death in 1973.

Neff, who died Sunday, March 29, 2009.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center. Burial will follow in St. Wendelin's Cemetery.Arrangements are by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home, </B>Butler.
