Mildred M. Winters, 74, of Butler died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 29, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Frank and Margaret Bauer Hilligsberg.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and spending time with her granddogs.

Mrs. Winters was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

Surviving are two daughters, Lori Gasowski and Mary Ann (Joe) Andrasy, both of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Winters Brace of Butler; three brothers, Frank Hilligsberg of Whitaker, Norb Hilligsberg of West Mifflin and Allan Hilligsberg of Virginia; a sister, Helen Brandstetter of Missouri; three grandchildren, Brianna Jo, Brandon and Joey; three step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph Winters, on Aug. 26, 1985; a son, Joe Winters; and her companion, Samuel Kasko.

<B>WINTERS</B> — Friends of Mildred M. Winters, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
