1:51 a.m. Thursday — Heather Ann Kuhrt, 30, of Butler and Dezeray L. Angerett, 30, of Butler Township allegedly assaulted another woman outside My Buddies Place on Pillow Street.The suspects and 31-year-old Laci Ann McCandless earlier had gotten into a dispute in the bar. Kuhrt and Angerett later left and allegedly waited for McCandless to come out, according to a police report.Both suspects are accused of punching or pushing the alleged victim. Police said Angerett also smacked McCandless' head off the building's wall.Officers noted in their report that McCandless' forehead was bleeding from a cut when they got there. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.Kuhrt and Angerett were taken into custody after officers found them walking in the area of Third Avenue and West New Castle Street. Police said both women are charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.1:32 a.m. Tuesday — David J. Hudak, 43, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly assaulted Jill Kennedy during a domestic dispute at her apartment in the 200 block of North Main Street.Hudak is accused of throwing Kennedy's phone before pushing her to the floor. Kennedy suffered a minor injury to her right elbow.The defendant was arraigned on charges of simple assault and public drunkenness, and he was placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail.Tuesday — Police charged Thomas J. Rodgers, 48, of Summit Township with misdemeanor drug possession stemming from a Nov. 19 traffic stop in the 200 block of West New Castle Street.Officers were working a traffic detail for aggressive drivers about 8:10 p.m. when they pulled over Rodgers, who they knew was not permitted to drive because his license was suspended. Police noted in court documents that he has eight prior citations for driving during suspension.A search of the pickup truck Rodgers was driving turned up a stamp bag of suspected heroin and other drug contraband, documents said.Rodgers is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.6:40 p.m. Sunday — Pickup trucks driven by Jesse J. Almendariz Jr., 29, of Butler Township and Eric J. Haley, 49, of Butler collided on West New Castle Street just south of Mercer Street. Haley, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Police said Almendariz, who fled the scene but was found a short time later, was cited for hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.

8:25 p.m. Tuesday — Michael R. Gregg, 33, of Butler was arrested after he threatened to shoot a security officer at the Walmart at Butler Commons. Moments earlier, according to a police report, Gregg was caught shoplifting $110 in merchandise from the store.When Gregg left the store, the employee tried to stop him. Police said the suspect threatened the security officer and ran to a car before driving away. State police a short time later stopped Gregg's car at New Castle Street and Sixth Avenue in Butler.Police found no weapon on him or in the car.The defendant was arraigned on charges of robbery, retail theft, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Butler County Prison following arraignment.10:05 p.m. Nov. 6 — Kimberly Stabrlya, 29, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after she lost control of her car and crashed in the 700 block of Mercer Road.

Tuesday — Police charged Malissa Ann Russell, 32, of Stoneboro in connection with an investigation that began Aug. 8 when officers found dirty spoons and a crack pipe in her apartment. Forensic tests determined the spoons had residue of heroin and cocaine, according to a police report.Russell is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.Tuesday — An unknown thief overnight broke into a car parked in the owner's driveway on JR Drive and stole about $6 in loose change.

Tuesday — An unknown thief stole a pair of Oakley sunglasses, a Garmin global positioning system device and about $5 in loose change from a home on Church Road in Prospect. The theft happened between Nov. 19 and Tuesday.

12:24 a.m. Wednesday — Police suspect two teenagers broke into a vehicle outside a house in East Franklin Township before they broke into the home's garage in the 100 block of Walkchalk Road. Once in the garage, the pair rummaged through two vehicles.Troopers nabbed Cody A. Carney, 18, of Kittanning at the scene but the other suspect, described as a white male in his late teens, ran away.Carney is charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, theft from a vehicle and possession of a small amount of marijuana. He is being held in the Armstrong County Jail on $25,000 bail.9:08 p.m. Tuesday — A 23-year-old Kittanning man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 28 near exit 18 in North Buffalo Township.3:42 p.m. Tuesday — A cargo van driven by Kodie L. Lee, 21, of Ford City rear-ended a sport utility vehicle that was stopped behind a school bus, which was dropping off children in front of a home on Route 66 in Bethel Township.The SUV driver, Carla A. Bertetto, 33, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township with minor injuries.Police said Lee was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Wednesday — Police reported they are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a 4-year-old boy that happened between July 1 and Aug. 14 at a home in Pine Township, Mercer County. Investigators have a suspect but no other information was released.Monday — An unknown thief stole a utility trailer at a business in Pine Township, Mercer County. The yellow CarMate trailer contained wood decking and ramps. Police did not identify the business. The theft happened between Nov. 21 and Monday.10 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by William R. Ashbaugh, 53, of Emlenton was rear-ended by a sport utility vehicle on Route 173 at Coulter Lane in Wolf Creek Township. Police noted that Ashbaugh had slowed down while going down hill on the ice-covered road. Clifford E. Donaldson, 70, of Jackson Center, was driving the SUV.

7:16 p.m. Thursday — Tiffiny M. Shirey, 31, of Emlenton lost control of her car and crashed into a guardrail on Route 38 just south of Porterfield Road in Richland Township, Venango County. Police said Shirey was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
