12:15 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Dawn L. Myers, 47, of Harrisville struck another vehicle while pulling out of the former Kerven Subaru dealership parking lot on New Castle Road. Wayne Clark, 65, of Butler was the other driver.

No one was injured in the crash, but one of the vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Myers for failing to yield the right of way.

8:47 p.m. Wednesday — A 16-year-old Butler boy was injured when he lost control of a vehicle on Old Plank Road and struck an embankment, which caused the vehicle to roll onto its side and sideswipe a utility pole. The vehicle ended on its wheels.

Police did not release the name of the driver, who complained of minor pain after the crash.

Dec. 17 — Police charged an Alabama man with being more than three times the state's legal limit for alcohol stemming from a traffic stop earlier this month. Daniel A. Dyson, 28, of Pelham was traveling going 47 mph in a 35 mph zone on South Main Street, according to court documents.But police said Dyson's pickup truck also crossed over the yellow lines on five different occasions, according to court documents. He eventually was pulled over in the parking lot of a pizza shop on Route 173.He is charged with driving under the influence, speeding and disregarding traffic lanes.12:29 a.m. Dec. 15 — Alissa M. Reno, 28, of New Castle was arrested for drunken driving after a traffic stop at the Cooper Street Apartments. A subsequent breath test allegedly showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.142 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.Reno is charged with DUI and a stop sign violation.10:27 p.m. Dec. 14 — Dawn M. Shoup, 41, of Slippery Rock was arrested for drunken driving after a traffic stop on East Water Street. A subsequent breath test allegedly showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.226 percent. She is charged with DUI.1:35 a.m. Dec. 12 — Kayla M. Hufnagle, 24, of Parker was arrested for DUI on Kiester Road at Building & Grounds Road. She was stopped after police said they saw that her vehicle's headlights were not on while traveling on South Main Street.A breath test later indicated that her blood-alcohol level was 0.209 percent, according to court documents. In addition to DUI, she is charged with a lighting violation.

Thursday — Nicholas A. Grega, 27, of Allison Park, Allegheny County was charged with driving under the influence stemming from a one-vehicle crash last month on the 600 block of Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township.Police said Grega was in his car on the road with the vehicle in neutral, the engine running and the headlights off around 8:40 p.m. Nov. 25 when neighbors approached him. The car traveled south and went off the right side of the road into the front yard of a home, stopping when it hit a tree.He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which allegedly showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.227 percent, nearly three times the state’s 0.08 percent legal limit, court documents said. He also allegedly had marijuana in his system.Grega is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving.12:28 p.m. Wednesday — No one was injured in a three-vehicle crash involving three teenage drivers on Dinnerbell Road westbound near Charlemagne Drive in Jefferson Township.The wreck occurred, according to a police report, when Nathan R. Anesin, 18, of Saxonburg, who was driving a pickup truck, slowed for traffic and was rear-ended by two cars. The other drivers were a 17-year-old Butler girl and Hannah N. McCune, 18, of Butler.Wednesday — Johanne L. Minetti, 49, of Brady Township was charged with drugged driving in connection with a traffic stop earlier this month. Police said she was pulled over around 1:45 a.m. Dec. 3 on Mercer Street near American Avenue after not using her turn signals.Police later took Minetti to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. According to court documents, she tested positive for cocaine, marijuana and O-desmethylvenlafaxine, which is a metabolite of an antidepressant.She is charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, failing to use turn signals and careless driving.9:22 p.m. Tuesday — Jeffrey R. Kuhn, 52, of Slippery Rock was arrested for drunken driving and charged with being more than three times the state’s legal limit for alcohol on Barton Lane in Slippery Rock Township.Police said Kuhn, who admitted to having had multiple alcoholic beverages, was taken for a breath test, which allegedly showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.269 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated. He is charged with DUI.11:20 p.m. Dec. 15 — Edwin G. Amrhein Jr., 61, was arrested after a suspected domestic dispute with his wife at their home on Cornelius Road in Worth Township.The victim told police that during the altercation the defendant pointed a gun at her, according to court documents. She said she fled to the coal cellar and locked the door until she could leave the house.Amrhein was arraigned on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond following arraignment.Dec. 3 — Police charged two Jefferson Township women with having drugs stemming from a traffic stop last month in Buffalo Township. One of the suspects, Madalyn A. Condron, 33, also was allegedly driving on drugs after being stopped around 2:30 p.m.Nov. 27 by a trooper on patrol on Route 28.Condron admitted that she had been using drugs, according to court documents, and police found her with suspected crack cocaine and marijuana. She subsequently was taken for a blood test. Lab results were not immediately available.She is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, failing to stop at a red light and failing to carry her driver’s license.Her passenger, Jessica L. Terek, 33, of Jefferson Township was allegedly found with suspected crack, buprenorphine strips and marijuana, documents said. Terek is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Dec. 3 — Sherry L. Chupka, 48, of Center Township was charged with DUI in connection with a traffic stop last month on Covewood Drive in Center Township. A breath test later showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.177 percent, court documents said.In addition to DUI, she is charged with failing to keep right, failing to use turn signals, driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.
