Monday — Timothy C. Magnotti, 31, of West Sunbury was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop at 2:29 a.m. April 25 on East Jefferson Street.Officers stopped Magnotti's car after they spotted it with a headlight out and heard it with the radio “extremely loud,” according to a police report.He appeared impaired and was given several field sobriety tests, which he failed. A portable breath test indicated he had consumed alcohol. Magnotti was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.A search of his car, meanwhile, turned up a suspected marijuana in the center console, the report said.Toxicology results later showed he had marijuana in his system and his blood-alcohol level was 0.084 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is intoxicated under state law.In addition to driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and a controlled substance, Magnotti is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and a lighting violation.Monday — Police charged Dina N. Flint, 27, of Butler with shoplifting $38 worth of cosmetics May 7 from the Rite Aid store on South Main Street. Flint is charged with misdemeanor retail theft.Monday — Jessica A. Clymire, 24, of McKeesport, Allegheny County, was charged with bouncing two checks, totaling $524.70, on April 11 at Don Paul Jewelers on North Main Street. Police charged Clymire with two counts of bad checks.7:24 p.m. Saturday — A 15-year-old boy is accused of trying to shock a 17-year-old boy with a stun gun at Rotary Park.The younger boy faces charges of possessing a prohibited offensive weapon, simple assault and harassment.4:50 p.m. Saturday — Richard J. Ealy, 23, ended up in jail after a neighborhood disturbance in the 300 block of North Bluff Street.Police were called for a reported fight in the area of North Bluff and West Brady streets.Officers found Ealy and two women screaming at each other over a dog, according to a police report.Ealy was arrested for unruly behavior including repeatedly shouting obscenities at officers, police said. He was arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,000 bail.The two women, Tammy M. Ealy, 45, and May Jane Shelatree, 42, were cited for making too much noise, police said.

10 p.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Joseph Mielecki, 59, of Butler and Elizabeth Wolfe, 54, of Connoquenessing collided at Route 68 and Meridian Road.4:38 p.m. Saturday — Two children were hurt when a vehicle driven by Julie Guntrum, 33, of New Castle rear-ended another vehicle on Route 422. Guntrum's two children, ages 9 and 11, suffered minor cuts to the face and knees. Michael Lonzo, 84, of Harmony was the other driver.2:34 p.m. Saturday — Jamie Ritter, 29, of Ellwood City was hurt when a vehicle rear-ended her vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign on Alameda Park Road at the park entrance.Ritter was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with neck and back pain.Richard Myers, 23, of Mars was the other driver.

Monday — Police charged a 14 year old boy and a 12-year-old boy with selling marijuana at the Grove City Middle School.The youths allegedly sold the drug on April 27 to another 14-year-old boy. Both suspects are charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a felony.Monday — A burglar broke into a garage storage unit in the 300 block of West Main Street.A tire, suitcases and a tub filled with various items were taken in the burglary that happened between 6 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 a.m. Monday.Police did not say if they have any suspects.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Monday — Police reported that they have charged Andrew Klaus, 24, of Slippery Rock with theft by deception, stemming from a theft at the Bobo Rice Bowl on South Broad Street in March and April.May 13 — A back pack containing a laptop computer and other items was taken from the Map Cafeteria lobby at Grove City College.
