These items were collected from various police departments:

Aug. 30 — Nijah A. Henderson, 29, Pittsburgh, was charged with simple assault, following an Aug. 29 domestic dispute on the 300 block of East Locust Street, Butler.Police said when they arrived, they found Henderson pacing outside the home. Police said Henderson's girlfriend told officers the two had broken up, and Henderson was packing to leave.The girlfriend told police an argument over ownership of some items escalated, when Henderson became physical, including at one point closing her arm in a door and at another point tackling her to the ground.Aug. 25 — Two people were charged with theft and criminal conspiracy related to fraudulent returns made between July and August at the Dollar General in Butler.Police charged Gloria M. Vera, 40, and Noble L. Braho, 37, both of Butler, with the crimes. Police said store employees found the acts through security footage as Braho would take items to the counter from inside the store and Vera would return the items.Police said they were alerted to the thefts by store employees Aug. 7, and it is estimated the pair stole about $1,210 through these methods.Aug. 23 — Two people have been charged with drug possession, related to an April 23 traffic stop on the 100 block of North Main Street, Butler.Police said they stopped the vehicle for an unlit headlight. Police began investigating after finding out the vehicle did not belong to the driver or the two passengers.Inside the glovebox, police found a film canister containing suspected crystal meth. Police arrested Keiheen Trowery, 36, of Pittsburgh, who was sitting in the front passenger seat. Police later found three more bags of the same suspected drug on Trowery's person.Police said Trowery told officers the rear passenger also had drugs with them. Police then arrested Jules M. Williams, 41, of Pittsburgh, who later was found with suspected crystal meth under her weave.Aug. 18 — Charles J. Clawson, 23, of Carrick, was charged with giving officers a false identity during an Aug. 6 traffic stop on Center Avenue near Ziegler Avenue.Police said they stopped the vehicle for unlit taillights. Police said Clawson repeatedly identified himself as Francis Huncheck and gave an inaccurate date of birth. Police said Clawson later admitted his identity, and he was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Allegheny County.

3:10 p.m. Sept. 2 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Campus Lane, Butler Township.Police said a 17-year-old East Butler boy pulled out in front of the bus and crashed into the driver's side tire. The bus was driven by Michael Bester, 38, of Butler.Police said the bus was full of students, and one female student suffered a minor injury that did not require medical treatment. Police said there were no other injuries, and the bus was towed from the scene.Aug. 27 — Justin R. Dailey, 21, of Butler, was charged with felony theft, felony possessing stolen property and misdemeanor carrying a gun without a license, following an investigation into a separate matter.Police said Dailey was in a group of people related to a report of an intoxicated driver. Police said while speaking with those in the group, they noticed a 9 mm shell casing inside the vehicle.Police said when they searched Dailey, he was honest about the gun found in his waistband. Dailey later told officers he had stolen the gun, which he found while near a swimming hole in East Butler.Police said Dailey continued to be cooperative throughout the investigation.Aug. 26 — Vincent J. Caccamo Jr., 60, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from an Aug. 12 report of a reckless driver in the area of Highland Avenue, Butler Township.Police said they located the vehicle in question, and stopped it for traveling under 5 mph. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Caccamo was impaired.Police said a later breath sample showed Caccamo's blood-alcohol content at .210%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Aug. 26 — Tashina C. Booher, 37, of Butler, was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession, stemming from a July 6 traffic stop in Butler Township.Police said they arrested Booher after finding out she had an active arrest warrant, and during that time, they found suspected cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 26 — Sean M. Corneen, 36, of Coraopolis, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, related to items stolen July 11 from Walmart in Cranberry Township.Police said they were alerted July 27 by store employees about the theft, and by reviewing security footage, they found Corneen had failed to ring up all of his purchases, allowing him to leave with about $173 worth of unpaid items.Aug. 18 — Nathan H. Stanley III, 31, of Pittsburgh, was charged with driving on a suspended license, related to an Aug. 15 traffic stop at the intersection of Rowan Road and Lexington Drive in Cranberry Township.Police said they stopped him for erratic driving and failing to yield at a stop sign. Police said they found Stanley's license was DUI-suspended.

Aug. 25 — Ryan W. Schaub, 27, of New Brighton, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a July 3 traffic stop on Route 228 at Castle Creek Drive in Seven Fields.Police said they stopped the vehicle for failing to use a turn signal. Police said they smelled alcohol and saw a can of Twisted Tea inside the vehicle.Police said field sobriety tests showed Schaub was impaired. Police said when they searched the vehicle, they found a small amount of marijuana, and a later blood test confirmed marijuana was in his system as well as alprazolam and fentanyl.

Aug. 25 — Keith E. Lutes, 48, of Grove City, was charged with a second-offense DUI, stemming from an Aug. 18 traffic stop on East Water Street in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped Lutes for turning without a signal. Police said they smelled alcohol, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed Lutes' blood-alcohol content at .107%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Aug. 25 — Darrell R. Smith, 67, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from an Aug. 21 traffic stop in the parking lot of Ginger Hill Tavern, Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped Smith's motorcycle for failing to use a turn signal and almost losing control. Police said they smelled alcohol on Smith, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed Smith's blood-alcohol content at .180%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.

Aug. 27 — Three people were charged after police allegedly found a stolen gun inside their vehicle during an Aug. 26 traffic stop on Route 28 North in Buffalo Township.Gregory A. Powell, 36, of Clarion, and Tony R. Grooms, 36, of York, were charged with two felony counts of unlawful gun possession and one felony count of having stolen property. The driver, Cayla L. Greenawalt, 21, of Clarion, was charged with felony receiving stolen property and cited for speeding.Police said they stopped the vehicle for going 80 mph in a 65 mph zone. Police said they asked Greenawalt to step out of the vehicle because she told officers she smoked marijuana and had a medical marijuana card.Police said Greenawalt gave permission to search the vehicle, and during the search a loaded pistol and shotgun were found inside the vehicle. Police said there also were loose shotgun shells found in a fanny pack.Police said no one took ownership of the weapons, and the pistol was found to be stolen.Aug. 26 — Joshua T. Verno, 31, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from an Aug. 14 traffic stop on Benbrook Road near Tudor Drive in Butler Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Verno was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed Verno's blood-alcohol content at .130%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Aug. 26 — Donald L. Burk, 51, of Petrolia, was charged with terroristic threats and harassment, related to an incident in the prisoner area of the state police Butler barracks.Police said Burk and another man were being transported in the same vehicle for separate incidents. While in the cruiser, Burk began arguing with the other man.According to police, the other man told Burk he wasn't afraid of an old man who wears skinny jeans. Police said Burk then told the other man he would “bury” and “rape” him. Police said these threats continued, even after police told him to stop.Aug. 26 — Jarrod A. Leach, 53, of Gibsonia, was charged with criminal mischief, related to a July 29 incident at a home on the 100 block of Hidden Hill Road in Clinton Township.Police said Leach is seen in security footage yelling and acting aggressively. Police said Leach damaged four sidewalk lights, one mailbox and the rear windshield wiper of a parked vehicle for a total of $321 worth of damages.
