Aug. 16 — Matthew J. Miloszewski, 43, of Aliquippa, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct, related to an Aug. 11 road rage incident on Route 422 in Franklin Township.Police said the man who reported the incident told officers he and his fiancee were pulling up to a truck to apologize for an driving incident on Route 422, when Miloszewski pointed a pistol at them.Police said they later pulled over a license plate matching the description of the report, and during the stop officers found a pistol and an AR-15 rifle in the vehicle.Aug. 11 — Jacob Slater, 24, of New Castle, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a July 3 traffic stop on Route 528 in Muddy Creek Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for speeding, going 91 mph in a 55 mph zone. Police said they smelled marijuana, and Slater told the officer he had smoked medicinal marijuana about eight to nine hours before the stop.Police said a field sobriety test showed Slater was impaired, and he later refused to have his blood tested.Aug. 11 — Malia S. Kennedy, 20, of Slippery Rock, is charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a July 31 traffic stop on New Castle Street in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped the vehicle for an unlit brake light. Police said they smelled alcohol while speaking with Kennedy.Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.136%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.Aug. 11 — Crystal L. Wonderling, 43, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from an Aug. 11 traffic stop on Centreville Pike near Applewood Lane in Slippery Rock Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said they smelled alcohol, and a field sobriety test showed Wonderling was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Wonderling's blood-alcohol content at 0.106%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.Aug. 11 — Ryan M. Mazzanti, 40, of Slippery Rock, was charged with possessing a controlled substance, related to an Aug. 4 probation check at the Fairfield Inn in Slippery Rock Township.Police said they found several hundred empty stamp bags, needles and two bundles of suspected heroin and fentanyl.
