Butler Twp Police
7:28 a.m. Tuesday — Two youths were hurt in a three-vehicle wreck on New Castle Road. The chain-reaction crash happened in front of Auto Zone, where a 17-year-old boy, who police did not identify, did not stop in time and struck the back of a sport utility vehicle.
The collision pushed the SUV driven by Erin Fugh, 47, of Butler into a vehicle driven by Kristen Schooley, 28, of Butler. The children riding in Fugh’s vehicle were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital after complaining of head and neck pain.
Tuesday — Darrin J. Dibiccaro, 44, of Butler was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop at 11:46 p.m. May 15 on South Duffy Road.
In addition to driving under the influence, Dibiccaro is charged with making an improper right turn, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, texting while driving, littering on a highway and failing to carry his license.
Tuesday — Police filed criminal and other charges against Peter D. Gall, 28, of Butler in connection with a suspected road rage incident about 12:30 p.m. April 9 on Freeport Road at Center Avenue.
Gall is accused of pointing a handgun at a 24-year-old Cabot woman after she confronted the suspect about his alleged reckless driving.
Police said he also swerved his vehicle into the woman’s lane of traffic. At one point, according to a police report, he also pounded on the woman’s driver’s side window.
Gall is charged with three counts of reckless endangerment as well as disorderly conduct, two counts each of reckless driving and careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes and making an improper turn.
State Police, Clarion
3:15 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Sierra L. Gathers, 19, of Rimersburg was struck from a behind by a sport utility vehicle on Route 322 in Paint Township. Police said the SUV driver, Alexander D. Wells, 19, of Corsica, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
State Police, Kittanning
4:53 p.m. Tuesday — Jared Biedenbach, 18, of Butler was slowing down for traffic due to a prior crash when a minivan rear-ended the car he was driving on Route 28 just before exit 14 in Tarentum, Allegheny County. Lamar Wright, 24, of Pittsburgh was driving the van.
3:54 p.m. Tuesday — Kaysee Bartell, 23, of Worthington was hurt when the pickup truck she was driving rear-ended another vehicle on Route 28 at exit 14 in Fawn Township, Allegheny County. The crash forced the other vehicle, driven by Barbara Gaggini, 76, of Springdale, into a wire guardrail.
Gaggini was taken to an undisclosed Pittsburgh hospital with unknown injuries. Bartell was taken to an unspecified hospital with minor injuries.
Friday — Police charged an Adrian couple with trying in April to clean up a Washington Township home where a man died of a heroin overdose.
Charged with tampering with physical evidence and 19 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia are Adam T. Norris, 32, and Miranda N. Norris, 32.
The defendants, according to a police report, attempted “to cleanse” the crime scene of 154 empty stamp bags of heroin, numerous syringes and other drug contraband. The crime scene, police said, was a house on the 800 block of Reesedale Road where the overdose victim died April 11.
State Police, New Castle
2:15 a.m. Sunday — Cody M. Post, 29, of Slippery Rock lost control of his pickup truck and struck a sign and tree along Route 108 just west of Stoughton Road in Scott Township. Police said he left the scene of the crash but later was found.
Post is charged with failing to immediately notify police of an accident, driving without insurance, driving at an unsafe speed and not wearing a seat belt.
State Police, Punxsutawney
Monday — The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Rock Ann Haven on Greenwood Drive in Butler Township for a noise and disorder violation. Police said the bar’s loudspeaker was too loud on more than a dozen days, including Oct. 31, Jan. 23 and 30, Feb. 4, 13, 14, 20 and 21, March 13,14 and 27, and May 1 and 15. An administrative law judge will hear the case.
