George William Munn

George William Munn, 79, of Espyville, formerly of Butler County, died Friday on his wife's 18th Leap Year birthday, at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born April 17, 1928, in Homeville, he was the son of Calvin David and Mary Genevieve Walker Munn.

He married Margaret "Peggy" Ann Windschmitt June 30, 1956, and she survives.

He was a graduate of the Morris Trade School of Pittsburgh.

He was a member of Pipefitter Local 47 of Beaver Valley. He was in the Marine Corps from 1946 to 1947.

He is survived by three daughters, Mitzi McMullan and her husband, Rick, of Newport, Heidi Munn of Crafton, and Darci Brennen of Oakdale; four grandchildren, Dianna McMullan, Kevin McMullan, Mark McMullan, and Tori Brennen; a sister, Nola Wood of Belen, N.M.; two sisters-in-law, Lois Munn of West Homestead and Connie Windschmitt of West Chester; a brother-in-law Bill Windschmitt of Carlton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Schobel, and two brothers, Robert Munn and Calvin Munn.
