Dec. 13 — Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on the ramp from Route 356 onto Route 422 in Butler Township.Police said a vehicle driven by Devante Scott, 27, of Youngstown, Ohio, left the road on a curve and hit an embankment. Police said Scott reported a minor hand injury.
Dec. 11 — Jermaine Mosley, 34, of New Brighton, was charged with felony retail theft, related to items stolen from Walmart in Cranberry Township.Police said Mosley attempted to leave without paying for two 55-inch TVs with a combined value of $756. Mosley has nine prior retail theft convictions.Dec. 10 — Pamela S. Razzano, 65, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a two-vehicle crash in the Wesco parking lot on Thorn Hill Road in Cranberry Township.Police said witnesses reported one of the drivers involved appeared to be drunk. Police said as they were investigating, they saw a vehicle driving erratically through the parking lot. Police said at one point the vehicle backed into a tractor-trailer and left the scene.Police said they caught up with the vehicle and found Razzano driving. Police said there was an open bottle of wine between her legs and a bottle of vodka on the floorboard near her feet.Police said field-sobriety tests showed Razzano was impaired. Police said a later blood test showed Razzano's blood-alcohol content at .254%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Dec. 10 — Christine M. Sangricco, 58, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a single-vehicle crash Nov. 20 in the area of Route 19 and Victory Drive in Cranberry Township.Police said witnesses saw Sangricco drive over a raised center median before the vehicle crashed through a fence bordering the Ron Lewis Automotive overflow lot. Police said they smelled alcohol while speaking with Sangricco.Police said Sangricco was not injured in the crash, but a later blood test showed her blood-alcohol content at .197%. In Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Dec. 10 — Rennee E. Towndrow, 27, of Altoona, was charged with felony retail theft, related to items taken from Walmart in Cranberry Township.Police said Towndrow tried to leave the store without paying for multiple items, valued at about $1,061.
Dec. 13 — Mark A. Tincha, 55, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a Dec. 7 traffic stop on Mercer Road in Center Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for making an unsignaled turn and for crossing lines on the road. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field- sobriety tests showed Tincha was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed Tincha's blood-alcohol content at .129%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Dec. 11 — Gregor M. Begg, 59, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to a traffic stop June 28 on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.Police said they stopped his vehicle for traveling 101 mph in a 65-mph zone and crossing lines on the road. Police said they smelled alcohol coming from Begg, and field-sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Begg's blood-alcohol content at .218%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated. Police said there was also sertraline in his system at the time.Dec. 11 — Brandon J. Brittain, 27, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense controlled-substance DUI, related to an Oct. 16 report of a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 79 North near mile marker 103 in Worth Township.Police said the vehicle fled the scene, and officers searched the area. On the 500 block of New Castle Road in Worth Township, police found a man lying on the road near the fog line and found a vehicle matching the crash nearby.Police said Brittain was unable to perform any field-sobriety tests due to disorderly and erratic behavior. Police said a later blood test showed marijuana, lamotrigine and caffeine in his system.Dec. 10 — Abanob S. Kares, 24, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a controlled substance DUI, stemming from a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said Kares had his cellphone propped on a wallet on the dash, allowing him to watch a video.Police said field-sobriety tests showed Kares was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in his system.Dec. 9 — Michael Patrick Shipley, 33, of Grove City, was charged with damage of property when he allegedly smashed the front door window of a Slippery Rock business Nov. 8.Police said they were dispatched to 205 South Main Street at around 10:30 p.m. where the store owner provided security camera footage allegedly showing a person identified as Shipley.Dec. 8 — Angela J. Gaiser, 43, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI in relation to an incident Nov. 21.Police said they responded to a crash at around 9 p.m. on a set of railroad tracks on Glenwood Way, and made contact with the driver, Gaiser.Gaiser consented to a breath test, which revealed she had a BAC of .190%. In Pennsylvania the legal limit is 0.08%.Dec. 8 — Emma Elizabeth Bair, 21, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a Sept. 3 traffic stop on Centerville Pike in Slippery Rock Township.Police said they observed at around 1:15 a.m. a silver vehicle swerving within its lane at various speeds and abruptly applying the brakes, and initiated a traffic stop.After making contact with Bair, she admitted to marijuana and alcohol consumption. A blood test indicated Bair had a BAC of 0.020%, as well as sertaline, caffeine and desmethylsertraline in her system.
