Joseph Kozlowski

Joseph Louis "Kozmo Joe" Kozlowski Sr., 64, of Sarver died Thursday on route to Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.

Born March 14, 1943, in New Kensington, he was a member of the New Kensington Eagles and the Outdoor Life Lodge. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, fixing cars and gun work. He enjoyed playing the guitar.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Nancy Jane Jordan Kozlowski; his children, Kathryn (Clyde) Thorhauer of New Kensington, Joseph L. (Toni) Kozlowski Jr., John P. (Stacy) Kozlowski, and James R. (Kayla) Kozlowski, all of Virginia, Christina D. and Matthew A. Kozlowski, both of Sarver, Shawn Kozlowski of Pittsburgh; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Donna Kozlowski of New Kensington; two brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Kozlowski of New Kensington and Raymond (Marsha) Kozlowski of Vandergrift; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Maria Negrich Kozlowski; one sister, Carolyn Kozlowski, and one brother, William Robert Kozlowski.

<B>Kozlowski</B>— Friends of Joseph Louis "Kozmo Joe" Kozlowski Sr., who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder Street, where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday.Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
