Tuesday — Kevin M. Victor, 31, turned himself in to authorities in connection with an alleged domestic dispute last week at his home on the 400 block of Virginia Avenue.

Victor is accused of hitting his girlfriend in the face Thursday night. Police said the woman told them she later fled the defendant’s house and ran to a convenience store on West Jefferson Street to get help shortly before midnight.

The woman’s left eye was swollen shut and bleeding when police found her, according to court documents. Officers searched the area for Victor, but could not find him. They obtained an arrest warrant for him Monday.

District Judge William Fullerton arraigned him on a charge of simple assault, and he later was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.

3:21 a.m. Monday — Christian R. Nawrocki Jr., 43, was arrested after police said he shoved his sister down steps in a domestic incident at his home on Fifth Avenue. The victim suffered apparent minor injuries.

Nawrocki was arraigned on a charge of simple assault. He is free on $2,000 bail.

1:43 p.m. Sunday — Police arrested Troy A. Lapsley, 27, of Butler, after he allegedly choked and struck his girlfriend in the face during a domestic dispute on the 100 block of West Jefferson Street. The woman suffered a cut on her chin.

Lapsley was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and he was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.

4:44 a.m. Friday — A Lancaster County man was arrested for allegedly punching a woman in the face four times during a domestic dispute on the 100 block of Quarry Street.

Police said they got the call for a domestic incident in progress. Officers arrived and found the defendant, Jabrrel C. Lane, 39, of Lancaster, and the victim. The woman’s face was covered in blood, according to court documents. Lane had blood on his shirt and hands.

District Judge Sue Haggerty arraigned Lane on a charge of simple assault, and he was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 bond.

2:34 a.m. Sunday — Two people were injured when a vehicle driven by Russell Enlow, 38, of Lyndora, struck an embankment and rolled over in the area of High Street and Grandview Boulevard. Enlow and his passenger, Tammy Clutter, 45, of Lyndora, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.

A police report said Enlow is suspected of driving under the influence and the crash investigation continues.

Sunday — A 20-inch Hyper Tough push lawn mower was reported stolen over the past week at a home on Old Plank Road. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

4:15 p.m. Saturday — Brannon J. Irvin, 31, of Butler, was found at the Butler Commons Walmart, where he had been barred in 2017. Police cited him for defiant trespass.

3:23 p.m. Saturday — Paula M. Moore, 49, was arrested on charges she assaulted her daughter during a domestic dispute at her home on the 500 block of Main Street in Lyndora. She is accused of hitting the victim in the face numerous times, according to court documents.

Police said they also found a suspected marijuana pipe on top of her purse in plain view.

District Judge Sue Haggerty arraigned Moore on charges of simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment. She was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond following arraignment.

8:20 a.m. Saturday — An unknown driver and passenger left a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder after a hit-and-run crash in Fairview Township. Police said the vehicle was traveling west on Forrest Street about four-tenths of a mile west of Pigeon Street when it left the road, striking a wood sign for Bear Creek Cemetery and a concrete landscaping wall.

Police said a passer-by found the crash and notified authorities.

Saturday — A 51-year-old Florida man’s rental car was reported stolen from Main Street in Petrolia. The vehicle is a white Nissan Pathfinder with Arizona license plates. Police said the vehicle is a rental from National Rental at Pittsburgh International Airport.
