Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
Aug. 8 — Kevin J. Leslie, 30, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police stopped him on Dori Drive. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.166%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%. A small amount of marijuana also was found in his vehicle, police said.
Aug. 7 — Jodi L. Taylor, 40, of Saxonburg, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found with 11 stamp bags of suspected heroin and a crack pipe.
Aug. 7 — David S. Cromika, 46, of Portersville, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with four bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl.
July 31 — Jonathan G. Will, 41, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Route 8. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.252%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Aug. 7 — Mark R. Thomas, 56, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks. Police said he wrote a check with insufficient funds.
Aug. 2 — Athena A. Kelley, 21, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Aug. 2 — Richard A. Dematteis, 59, of Boyers, and Scott A. Whitmire, 45, of Petrolia, were charged with felony firearm possession and two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a crack pipe, metal grinder, gabapentin, THC wax, and a firearm Dematteis was not permitted to possess.
Aug. 2 — Trisha M. McGinty, 44, of Sharpsville, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found with metal grinder, gabapentin and THC wax.
Aug. 7 — Candace M. Rikal, 47, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks. Police said she wrote a check with insufficient funds.
Aug. 7 — Mitchell D. Keefer, 58, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Main Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.146%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
