Monday - David Barlow of Pittsburgh said someone overnight slashed three tires on his truck on Negley Avenue.1:46 a.m. Saturday - A car driven by Renee Leitem, 36, of 103 Morton Ave. struck a car, owned by Michelle Miller of Cabot, parked on East Jefferson Street. Leitem was cited for careless driving.
May 12 - Derek Hoffman, 22, of Grove City reported his 1992 Honda Accord had all four tires damaged between 11 p.m. May 9 and 11 a.m. May 10. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department.5 p.m. May 8 - Stacia Mason, 25, of Grove City was arrested after a domestic altercation that occurred on Edgewood Avenue. Mason is charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal trespass.May 8 - Someone broke into the concession stand near the girl's softball field in Memorial Park. Police did not report if any property was taken.May 6 - A 15-year-old Grove City boy, whom police did not identify, was arrested for aggravated assault and simple assault after he allegedly pointed a laser device at an officer while the officer was assisting on a traffic stop.May 4 - A girl's bicycle was found between South Center Street and Broad Street. The owner may identify and claim the bike at the police department.
4:29 p.m. Thursday - A car driven by Gerri L. Walzer, 39, of Portersville struck the rear end of a Vogel Disposal garbage truck on Little Creek Road near Mercer Street. Walzer told police she had dropped her cell phone and when she looked up, the garbage truck was stopped to make a garbage pick up.11:20 a.m. Wednesday - Two people were injured in a three-car crash at the intersection of Route 19 and Lindsay Road.Police said the crash occurred when cars driven by Janice Donaldson, no age given, and Kathryn Flockerzi, no age given, collided. The collision forced Flockerzi's vehicle into a vehicle driven by Rose Dambaugh, no age given, of Zelienople.Two passengers in Dambaugh's car, Margaret Rice, no age given, of Fombell, Beaver County, and Veronica Mathe of Zelienople, were treated for minor injuries at UPMC Passavant Cranberry. Donaldson was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Wednesday - A theft of two cases of ground beef estimated at 80 pounds and one case of chicken julienne estimated at 40 pounds was reported taken from Strikers Sports Bar, Perry Highway, sometime between May 8 and 10. Police said the robbers pried open a back door to get inside the freezer area.
Wednesday - Beth Dalmargo, 34, of Slippery Rock reported her purse that included credit cards and other forms of identification was taken while she was at lunch from her job at Glade Run Lutheran Service. Her credit card was later discovered used at a Staples store in New Castle where someone charged $2,745 for a computer.Dec. 2 - Darren R. Halli, 25, of Harmony was charged with forgery, tampering with records or identification, theft and receiving stolen property. Police said Halli altered a check written to him by Play it Again Sports from $28 to $88 and tried to cash it at the Shop N Save in Zelienople on Dec. 2.
10:10 p.m. Monday - Three people were injured when mini-vans driven by William Alexander, 24, of Slippery Rock and Joyce Steiner, 61, of Boyers collided on Route 308 in Marion Township.Both drivers were taken with serious leg injuries to United Community Hospital in Grove City. Anthony Murphy, 28, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in Alexander's vehicle, suffered a moderate head injury, police said. It was not known if Murphy was treated at a hospital.Police said neither Alexander nor Murphy was wearing a seatbelt. Steiner was wearing a seatbelt.Sunday - Four tires and four aluminum rims were taken in a theft between 5 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday at JR's Truck & Auto Sales on New Castle Road in Franklin Township.
Monday - Power tools, an air compressor and other items were taken between 8 p.m. Saturday and 11:10 a.m. Monday in a burglary at a home being remodeled on Harrisville Road in Worth Township, Mercer County. Owners of the property, valued at about $1,845, are Thomas Construction of Grove City; Chad Surrena of Franklin, Venango County; and Todd Burns of New York.
