Police reports as of June 19
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
June 9 — Hannah Alexis Cunningham, 28, was charged with misdemeanor loitering following an April 30 incident. Police said Cunningham was attempted to enter a residence where she was not permitted.
June 11 — Matthew Robert Double, 31, of Chicora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of resisting arrest, evading arrest, false identification to law enforcement and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 8 incident. Police said Double used a false name, ran from police, refused commands and had two empty stamp bags and a snorting straw.
June 15 — Morgan E. Hannold, 42, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 15 incident. Police said Hannold struck and bit a man.
June 9 — David William Yurkovich, 42, of Charleroi, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor possession of false display documents following a June 3 incident. Police said Yurkovich’s license plate did not match his vehicle’s VIN and he had a blood alcohol level of 0.157%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 7 — Police investigated a single-vehicle crash near the 86.5 mile marker of Interstate 79 south. Police said the vehicle of Gary E. Vandiver, 85, of Zelienople, sustained a mechanical failure that affected Vindiver’s steering ability. Police said the vehicle struck a ditch in the median. Vandiver was transported to UPMC Mercy hospital with suspected serious injuries.
June 11 — Jessica Lyn Swartzfager, 32, of Franklin, was charged with felony retail theft following a Dec. 18 incident in Center Township. Police said Swartzfager stole $1,224.91 in merchandise from Boscov’s.
June 11 — Brian Jay Zurzolo, 56, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 25 traffic stop in Clearfield Township. Police said Zurzolo had a blood alcohol content of 0.157%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 11 — Russell Don Stroup, 47, of West Sunbury, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 12 traffic stop in Marion Township. Police said Stroup tested positive for THC.
June 11 — Hunter Glenn Boyer, 22, of Blandon, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Feb. 28 traffic stop in Center Township. Police said Boyer had a blood alcohol content of 0.107%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 11 — Thomas Wesley Ketterer, 43, of Harmony, was charged with felony transfer of firearm and misdemeanor statement under penalty following a May 18 incident in Center Township. Police said Ketterer answered falsely on a firearms application.
June 11 — Roger B. Tweed, 73, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 7 crash in Center Township. Police said Tweed tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol level of 0.192%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 11 — Aiden Ambrose Hardisty, 34, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of false identification to law enforcement and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 18 incident. Police said Hardisty used a false name and had a glass smoking pipe.
June 16 — Steven Anthony Cline, 39, of Erie, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of evading arrest, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 14 incident in East Butler. Police said Cline ran from troopers, pulled away from troopers and was seen running from a shed that contained suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
