Penn Twp Police11:39 p.m. Tuesday — Judy L. Kradel, 59, of Butler Township was arrested for drunken and drugged driving after she traveled over a hill and onto the golf course at Conley’s Resort on Route 8.Police were called to the upper parking lot where they found the suspect driving a car that was headed “straight toward” the officer’s cruiser, which had its emergency lights on, according to court documents.The officer ordered Kradel to put her car in park, prompting her to ask, “Why?” police said. After some time trying to get the woman to unlock her door, turn off the engine and come out of the car, she complied.Police said Kradel had difficulty standing and she appeared impaired by alcohol and possibly drugs.The officer looked in the car and noticed five empty beer cans and five bottles of prescription medication, documents said. She was arrested but refused to submit to a blood test.Investigators spoke to staff at the resort and learned that Kradel had been at the bar earlier and had two beers there. Employees later noticed that she appeared to be possibly on drugs and offered to call a taxi to drive her home, documents said.But she declined the offer and got into the car, initially driving the vehicle around the building on the golf cart path. She later returned to the parking lot and backed up the car into the side of the building.Kradel is charged with driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs, hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.

State Police, Butler6:44 p.m. Wednesday — William E. Stableford, 64, was arrested after he allegedly assaulted Pamela Cooper at their home on Eberhart Lane in Donegal Township.The couple had been drinking most of the day, according to court documents, when an argument broke out, which led to the suspected assault. Cooper suffered bruising to her left ear, the earring on her right rear was ripped out, and she had scratches on the right side of her neck.The defendant later allegedly grabbed Nicole Amerson by the throat and pushed Debra Bristen after the two women, learning of the altercation, went to the home to help Cooper.Stableford was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and three counts of harassment, and released on his own recognizance.Tuesday — David T. Huselton Jr., 20, was arrested on charges he attacked 24-year-old Corrie Hodak during a domestic dispute at their home on Freeport Road, south of Dreher Farm Road in Summit Township.Police said the altercation began while the couple was in a vehicle at the home. The defendant allegedly shoved Hodak’s head downward. She got out of the vehicle, removed their 3-month-old daughter, who was in a car seat, and went into the house.Once inside, according to court documents, Huselton shoved Hodak into the nursery door and threw her onto the floor. He also allegedly punched her and slapped her several times.At some point during the altercation, he is accused of kicking the car seat, causing his infant daughter to fall onto the floor.The suspect also allegedly threw a knife at the wall, putting a hole in it.Police said Hodak had cuts on her bottom lip and scratches on her body.Huselton admitted he and Hodak had been arguing and that he slapped a phone from her hand. However, documents said, he accused the woman of hitting him and chasing him around the home with a knife. Police noted he had scratches on his chest.He was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, child endangerment, simple assault and harassment. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail following arraignment.Sept. 1 — Steven D. Potter, 50, of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop last month in Jefferson Township.Police said they stopped Potter on Aug. 23 after they saw his car cross over the double yellow center line on Route 356 just south of Headland Road. When the trooper got to the car, they saw the suspect with his 11-year-old son in the front passenger seat, court documents said.He was subsequently arrested but refused to submit to a blood test.In addition to driving under the influence, Potter is charged with child endangerment, driving without a license, driving without insurance, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.

State Police, ClarionAug. 31 — Police charged Jeffery M. Buzard, 24, of Rimersburg with having suspected drug contraband following a traffic stop at 7:24 a.m. July 3 on Interstate 80 in Monroe Township.Buzard is charged with possession of a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, speeding and failing to carry his vehicle registration.
