Butler PoliceMonday — Police arrested Tasha M. Robinson, 24, no known address, on charges she used a man’s stolen credit card to buy two cartons of cigarettes, for $136, earlier this month at Laziza Market on East Brady Street.The victim told police that his wallet, which contained several credit cards, was stolen Aug. 8 from his vehicle that was parked on New Castle Street. He learned that one of his cards had been used at the market to buy cigarettes.A store surveillance camera caught the crime on video, according to court documents. Police posted a photo of the suspect on the department’s Facebook page. The posting generated a number of tips identifying Robinson as the suspect.Police on Friday got an arrest warrant for Robinson, who was picked up and arraigned Monday afternoon. She is charged with forgery, a felony and access device fraud, a misdemeanor. She was placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail following arraignment.Friday — Nicholas A. Evanko, 27, of Butler was charged with drugged driving stemming from his arrest in June.Police said they found Evanko about 2:20 p.m. June 10 passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle at the Pullman Square shopping plaza. Butler Fire Department paramedics used the heroin antidote Narcan to revive him, court documents said.Officers searched Evanko and found a syringe in one of his pants pockets. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Toxicology reports showed he had THC, the chemical in marijuana, and fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, in his system, documents aid.Evanko is charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.Friday — Police filed misdemeanor drug charges against Brandon J. Keene, 19, of Venango Township and Caitland N. Ringler, 20, of Slippery Rock Township in connection with an incident Aug. 17 at the A-Plus convenience store on West Jefferson Street.Officers were called about 4:40 p.m. for suspected drug activity in a car and found the suspects. They also noticed a syringe on the floor where Keene was seated.Police got consent to look through the vehicle and found a crack pipe in the center console, according to court documents. Ringler said the pipe was hers.A search of Keene also turned up a pill bottle containing a stamp bag of suspected heroin. He and Ringler are both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Keene also is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Butler Township Police11:16 a.m. Saturday — David E. Baker, 50, of Butler was arrested on a bench warrant on Red Oak Drive where police were called for a trespass complaint.Officers got there and found Baker with suspected marijuana and other contraband, according to a police report. He initially gave a bogus name to police, who later learned he was wanted on the warrant.Baker eventually was arraigned on charges of false identification to law enforcement authorities, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail following arraignment.10:54 a.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Connie Doutt, 85, and Bryan Walker, 54, both of Butler, collided at Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road. No one was hurt but Doutt’s vehicle had to be towed.Friday — Kelly A. McCall, 45, of Wattsburg, Erie County, was charged with theft by deception in connection with a suspected fraudulent return of $179 in merchandise she made Aug. 6 at the Walmart at Butler Commons.Friday — Andrew L. Palace, 47, of Butler was charged in a suspected hit-and-run wreck Aug. 19 on Route 68 near Stirling Drive. Police said the suspect drove away after hitting the other occupied vehicle.In addition to hit-and-run, Palace is charged with failing to stop and give information or render aid after an accident, following too closely to another vehicle, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.10:37 a.m. Wednesday — Sean M. Stettmier, 46, of Butler was allegedly caught taking $119 in merchandise at the Butler Commons’ Walmart. He is charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

Grove City Police5:33 p.m. Saturday — A 16-year-old Farrell girl was arrested following an altercation with police at the Grove City High School parking lot.Police said they found the suspect, who they did not identify, after getting information that a runaway girl who was wanted on an arrest warrant was in the area.While at the school and questioning the suspect, who matched the description of the wanted girl, she gave officers a phony name and ran off.Police, however, quickly captured the teenager. The girl faces charges of resisting arrest and false identification to law enforcement authorities in Mercer County juvenile court.5:33 p.m. Friday — Joshua R. Stewart, 32, of Butler lost control of his car after one of his tires went flat and struck a ditch and mailbox in the 100 block of George Junior Road. No one was hurt but the car had to be towed.Thursday — Police obtained a felony arrest warrant for Tracy L. Wegrzynek, 43, of West Middlesex on charges she used someone else’s checks, without authority, to obtain money July 27 at the Grove City Area Federal Credit Union on Credit Union Way.Wegrzynek is charged with forgery and theft by deception.

State Police, Butler7:28 p.m. Sunday — An Allegheny County woman lost control of her car and struck a tree along Route 108 just east of Elliott Lane in Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County. Breanna N. Schultz, 20, of Allison Park was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Thursday — Sharon J. Mott, 60, of Oakland Township was charged with trying to illegally buy a firearm at a Butler Township store in February.Police said Mott allegedly provided false information on a federal form that was required Feb. 28 when she attempted to buy a Taurus 9 mm pistol at Dicks Sporting Goods at the Greenwood Plaza.When her information was entered into the Pennsylvania Instant Check system, an automated system by which gun dealers can determine if someone can legally buy a gun in the state, she was denied the purchase.Mott is charged with unlawfully attempting to buy a firearm, a felony, and unsworn falsification to authorities, a misdemeanor.

State Police, MercerMonday — An unknown vandal shot BBs through the window of a camper on Scrubgrass Road in Wolf Creek Township. The vandalism happened between 5 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 a.m. Monday.Damage to the camper, owned by a 48-year-old Jackson Center man, was estimated at $200.
