8:26 p.m. Sunday — Brandon D. Enslen, 18, of Prospect lost control of his car when the front passenger wheel fell off in the 500 block of West Cunningham Street. The car traveled into the parking lane and struck another parked car.8:10 p.m. Sunday — Police charged Rebecca Ann Kasarda, 20, of Franklin Township with possession of drug paraphernalia after she suffered an apparent heroin overdose at a home in the 400 block of North Sixth Avenue.The home's occupant called authorities to report finding Kasarda unresponsive and lying in the upstairs bathroom. A medical crew was already treating her by the time officers got there. Next to the woman, a police report said, was a hypodermic needle and an empty stamp bag of suspected heroin.Kasarda eventually regained consciousness, the report said, and admitted that she injected three bags of heroin before apparently overdosing.3:42 p.m. Friday — Mechanical failure possibly rendered Heather N. McCrorey, 32, of Butler unable to steer her car, causing her to crash into another car parked in the 200 block of East Patterson Avenue.Thursday — Police filed charges against Kenneth E. Snyder Jr., 29, of Butler in connection with a disturbance call about 12:45 a.m. Sept. 18 at North Sixth Avenue and West Penn Street. Officers got there and found him allegedly intoxicated.Police searched Snyder, court documents said, and found a pill of the suspected anti-anxiety medication clonazepam. He was arrested and taken to the police station.While in a holding cell at the station, documents said, Snyder allegedly “ripped piping insulation off the sink and began hitting it against the sink. Damage to the police property was estimated at $100.Snyder is charged with possession of a controlled substance, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.Thursday — Police charged Shannon J. Carbin with driving under the influence stemming from a traffic stop about 11:50 p.m. July 28 on Krut Street near West Wayne Street. A recently received toxicology report showed Carbin's blood-alcohol level was .0156, according to court documents, nearly double the state's 0.08 percent legal limit.

2:15 p.m. Sunday — Matthew Vasilich, 20, of McKeesport, Allegheny County, was arrested for felony marijuana possession after he was stopped for speeding on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Vasilich was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment this morning on drug charges.1:59 a.m. Sunday — Justin Louis David Fields, 19, of McKeesport was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Franklin Street in Slippery Rock.Sunday — An unknown vandal cut a hole in an inflatable Halloween decoration at a home on Highland Drive in Summit Township. Damage was estimated at $300. The vandalism happened between 1 and 11 a.m.2:05 p.m. Saturday — Jennifer L. Nyce, 21, of Schwenksville, Montgomery County, lost control of her car “due to reacting to another vehicle,” a police report said, and overturned in the median on I-79 in Worth Township.7:04 a.m. Saturday — Kenneth J. Muller, 26, of West Sunbury faces several traffic tickets after a suspected hit-and-run crash on Holyoke Road just south of Hollow Lane in Center Township.Police said Muller lost control of his car and struck a utility pole. He fled the crash scene “in an attempt to have (the) vehicle removed before (troopers')'' arrival, according to a police report.But the suspect was found a short time later and he acknowledged being the driver of the wrecked car.Police said Muller was cited for hit-and-run, failing to immediately notify police of an accident, failing to stop and give information or render aid after an accident, and a lane violation.Sept. 19 — Someone fired a pellet or BB gun that damaged a sliding-glass door at a home on Stone Church Road in Muddy Creek Township. Police said they have no suspects in the incident that happened between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.
