Nov. 9 — Shellie R. Bergbigler, 49, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault, related to a fight at a Butler Township home.Police said a woman claimed Bergbigler punched her in the face while she was sleeping on the couch. Police said Bergbigler claimed she was walking by the woman, who attacked her first, and so she punched the woman in the face.Police said Bergbigler could not describe how she was allegedly attacked, so she was the one charged.Nov. 8 — Raymond S. Baker, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession, related to an investigation into an unrelated matter.Police said after encountering Baker, they found he had an active arrest warrant, and during his arrest he admitted to having a half-used stamp bag in his pocket as well as related paraphernalia.

Nov. 3 — Scott A. Ganss, 31, of Tarentum, was charged with misdemeanor theft, related to an alleged scam.Police said Ganss was hired under his company, Scott & Sons Moving Co., to pack and move a woman's belongings. Police said Ganss quoted the woman $1,000 and asked for a $400 cash deposit and the signing of a contract.Police said despite the deposit and contract, Ganss never returned to perform the work.

Nov. 8 — Da Pol, 45, of Cabot, was charged with a second-offense DUI, related to a hit-and-run crash on Winfield Road in Jefferson Township.Police said they were alerted to a broken utility pole and a vehicle with front-end damage parked at a home about a half-mile away.Police said when approached, Pol admitted to being involved in the crash and appeared to have some cuts on his forehead. Police said a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at .358%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Nov 6 — Alec F. Wooster, 22, of Portersville, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a traffic stop Nov. 6 on Route 422 near North Road in Franklin Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Wooster was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed Wooster's blood-alcohol content at .211%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Nov. 5 — Richard E. Legrand, 23, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a Sept. 18 vehicle crash on the 900 block of Clearfield Road in Clearfield Township.Police said they found a two-vehicle crash, and they spoke with Legrand, who was being treated by EMTs. Police said they smelled alcohol on Legrand, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Legrand's blood-alcohol content at .154%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Nov. 2 — Luke A. Blackham, 29, of Valencia, was charged with felony possession of stolen property and misdemeanor making of false reports, related to a self-inflicted gunshot May 12, 2020.Police said Blackham was taken to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself with a pistol. Police said Blackham lied about how the shooting happened, and when they further investigated all three pistols Blackham owned, they said one was stolen.

Oct. 30 — Joshua D. Zimmerman, 31, of Valencia, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a one-vehicle crash Sept. 26 on the turnpike's on-ramp in Cranberry Township.Police said they spoke with Zimmerman, who smelled of alcohol, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Zimmerman's blood-alcohol content at .242%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.
