Nov. 8 Raymond L. Maudie II, 40, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a Nov. 3 traffic stop on Callery Road in Adams Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for erratic driving, crossing lines on the road and speeding about 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. Police said they smelled alcohol inside the vehicle. Field sobriety tests allegedly showed Maudie was impaired.A later breath test allegedly showed Maudie's blood-alcohol content at .271%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Nov. 8 — Dylan J. Lambert, 26, of Mars, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to an investigation into an Oct. 16 hit-and-run crash.Police said they found Lambert shortly after midnight Oct. 17, and they smelled alcohol while talking with him and saw beer cans in his vehicle.Field sobriety tests allegedly showed Lambert was impaired. A later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at .155%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated, police said.Nov. 8 — Thomas M. Sheehy, 54, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and a first-offense DUI following an Oct. 28 vehicle crash on the 400 block of Route 228 in Mars.Police were working to gather information at the scene of the multi-vehicle crash, and police said they smelled alcohol from Sheehy. Sheehy allegedly began to confront one of the officers at which point he was arrested. Police said Sheehy then resisted arrest by pushing away from them.Police allegedly found three unopened mini-bottles of whiskey on Sheehy's person. A later blood test allegedly showed his blood-alcohol content at .253%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Nov. 8 — Colin J. Williams, 18, of Mars, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from an Oct. 30 traffic stop in the parking lot of the Treesdale Country Club and Golf Course in Adams Township.Police stopped the vehicle for window tint and speeding at about 45 mph in a 25 mph zone. Police said they smelled alcohol inside the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.A later breath test allegedly showed Williams' blood-alcohol content at .127%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.
Nov. 8 — Luc T. Eppinger, 27, of Harmony, was charged with a second-offense DUI following a vehicle crash Sept. 21 on the 1000 block of West Lancaster Road in Lancaster Township.Police found an abandoned Mazda four-door sedan with heavy front-end damage at the scene. Police said they found it registered to two people, Eppinger being one. Police received reports from nearby residents that Eppinger was hiding in the woods. Eppinger later exited the woods and cooperated with police, according to the report.Field sobriety tests allegedly showed Eppinger was impaired. A later blood test allegedly showed marijuana in his system and a blood-alcohol content at .133%. In Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.
Nov. 14 — Montgomery E. Tew, 21, of Osceola Mills, was charged with misdemeanor false identification, related to a Sept. 18 incident at the Sheetz in Slippery Rock.According to police, officers spotted Tew drinking alcohol with others, and he gave police the wrong name and date of birth. Tew would have been four days away from his 21st birthday at the time.
6:34 p.m. Nov. 14 — Kierra A. Wood, 24, of Butler, lost control of her vehicle and hit a ditch on West Sunbury Road near Holyoke Road in Center Township, according to police. Neither Wood nor her passenger were injured, but Wood was cited with speeding.5:25 p.m. Nov. 14 — A vehicle driven by Lucas M. Pasquarello, 23, of New Castle, slid off a slickened road on Interstate 79, according to police.The vehicle went into the median and rolled onto its roof. Pasquarello was uninjured, but police cited him for speeding.3:26 p.m. Nov. 14 — Mikayla C. Kanalis, 19, of Brownsville, lost control of her vehicle and slammed into another vehicle driven by James Lundin, 31, of Erie, on Interstate 79 North around mile marker 101.4 in Worth Township, according to police.A passenger in Lundin's vehicle was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for a possible injury. Neither of the drivers were injured. Kanalis was cited for speeding.Nov. 14 — Carlos M. Reiter, 40, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI following an Aug. 5 vehicle crash on New Castle Road in Muddy Creek Township.Arriving at the scene, police said they found Reiter outside his vehicle without shoes and acting erratic. Police said they also found Reiter was driving on a suspended license for which he has five prior offenses.Field sobriety tests showed Reiter was impaired, according to police. Police said they found drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle. A later blood test allegedly showed meth and fentanyl in Reiter's system.5:49 p.m. Nov. 13 — Jordan M. Stocks, 18, of Karns City, drove her vehicle off Boyers Road near Marks Lane in Marion Township, according to police.Stocks lost control after trying to avoid a deer, according to the report. Stocks suffered minor injuries, but was not transported for treatment. She received a traffic citation.1:26 p.m. Nov. 13 — Brian W. Weckerly, 49, allegedly drove his vehicle into the intersection of Oneida Valley and Fairview roads, resulting in a collision with another vehicle driven by Patrick T. Rumbaugh, 37, of Hilliards.Weckerly suffered a suspected minor injury, but refused transport. Rumbaugh was not injured. Weckerly received a traffic citation.4:45 p.m. Nov. 11 — Mary Meanor, 49, of Apollo, allegedly failed to yield to a stop sign and crashed into a vehicle driven by a girl, 16, of Butler, at the intersection of Bonniebrook and Great Belt roads in Jefferson Township.No injuries were reported at the scene, but Meanor was cited with failing to stop.4:31 a.m. Oct. 10 — Jessica R. Boice, 30, of Butler, fell asleep behind the wheel before hitting two utility poles on Route 8 near Nursery Park in Middlesex Township, according to police.Boice was taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital for suspected minor injuries.Nov. 9 — Mark W. Shearer Jr., 49, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a Sept. 5 traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.Police stopped the vehicle after receiving multiple reports of erratic driving for a vehicle that matched its description, according to the report. Shearer had difficulty locating his documents and had blood-shot eyes, according to police. His license was also suspended.Field sobriety tests and a drug evaluation allegedly showed Shearer was impaired. Shearer refused chemical testing.Nov. 8 — Adam R. Mackiewicz, 27, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors of drug and paraphernalia possession after someone reported him for such offenses Oct. 29.Police said they found Mackiewicz possessing six bags of suspected heroin and six empty stamp bags inside a prescription pill container with his name on it.
Nov. 14 — Lucas J. Seybert, 22, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to an Oct. 17 report of a possible drunk driver at the University Village Apartment Complex.Police said they smelled alcohol on Seybert, and he admitted to drinking before driving. Seybert then allegedly refused to have his breath tested.
