Slippery Rock’s Brielle Jordan, recovering from torn ACL, commits to Concord women’s basketball
Slippery Rock guard Brielle Jordan has committed to Division II Concord University women’s basketball.
The senior announced her decision to join the Mountain Lions on social media Friday.
“First, I want to thank my parents for their endless love, support, and sacrifices that have helped me get to this point,” Jordan said in her post. “I couldn’t have done this without you.
“To all of my coaches who have pushed me, believed in me, and helped me grow as both a player and a person, thank you for being part of my journey.”
Jordan was named an honorable mention on the Butler Eagle all-county team after the 2025-26 season. She averaged 12.9 points per game (second on the team), 2.7 assists (third) and 3.3 rebounds (fourth) in 26 games last season for a Rockets team that finished 20-6 and made the second round of the PIAA Class 4A tournament.
Jordan tore her ACL in July, head coach Jeff Steele said, and will miss her senior season. It’s a big blow for a team that also lost leading scorer and Butler Eagle Player of the Year Madison Romanovich to graduation.
“This isn’t exactly how I imagined my senior year going, but I’ve learned that sometimes the journey looks different than you planned,” Jordan said on her social media post. “I’m thankful for everyone who has been part of mine, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
The Division II Mountain Lions went 18-11 (13-7 Mountain East Conference) last season, making it to the MEC Tournament quarterfinals where they lost to Fairmont State.
