Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
Dec. 21 — Robert H. Wynn, 72, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said they stopped him Nov. 11 on Center Avenue, and that field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. A later blood test showed Wynn’s blood-alcohol content at 0.337%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit 0.08%.
Dec. 21 — Danielle L. Rearick, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said they stopped her Dec. 14 on Mars Evans City Road. Police said she was found in possession of suspected cocaine.
Dec. 21 — Dustin Parrish, 27, of Creighton, and Susanne Gillespie, 67, of Saxonburg, were involved in a vehicle crash on Pittsburgh Road. Police said Parrish failed to yield for oncoming traffic and struck Gillespie’s vehicle.
Dec. 21 — Hannah Titley, 19, of Butler, Alan Roxberry, 58, of Parker, Richard Huff, 57, of Butler, and Amy Johnson, 52, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash on New Castle Road. Police said Titley’s vehicle rear-ended Roxberry’s, causing a chain reaction.
Dec. 20 — Shelley M. Hammond, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor property damage. Police said she struck a vehicle from behind Nov. 30 on Route 356 and fled the scene.
Dec. 20 — Kathryn E. Pugachow, 70, of Renfrew, was charged with felony retail theft. Police said she attempted to leave Walmart with $207 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Dec. 20 — Paul W. Roth Jr., 61, of New Castle, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft and summaries of trespassing and driving with a suspended license. Police said he left Target with $540 worth of merchandise he did not pay for.
Dec. 20 — Tierra J. Brady, 27, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors retail theft and two counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she attempted to leave Walmart with $184 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Two stamp bags of suspected heroin were found on her person, police said.
Dec. 20 — Steven M. Amon, 49, of Youngsville, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said when executing an arrest warrant, Amon was found with a white crystalline substance, two hypodermic needles, a glass crack pipe and a metal cooking spoon.
Dec. 20 — Joshua A. Hanley, 38, of Verona, was charged with misdemeanors conspiracy and two counts of theft. Police said he left Michael’s with $429 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Dec. 21 — Kristopher W. Sypulski, 19, of Sarver, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he took a bike and Kindle reading tablet from a residence.
Dec. 21 — Kenneth C. Lockley, 33, of Butler, was charged with prohibited possession of a firearm. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dunham’s Sports in Center Township.
Dec. 20 — Jacob A. Rodriguez, 20, of Rochester, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI. Police said they stopped him Oct. 29 on Kiester Road, Slippery Rock Township, and that field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. A later breath test showed Rodriguez’s blood-alcohol content at 0.07%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Dec. 19 — Ryan J. Todd, 45, of Karns City, was charged with misdemeanors of carrying a firearm without a license and altering an offensive weapon following an incident Dec. 18 in Butler Township. Police said he changed the serial number of a firearm.
Dec. 21 — Samantha J. Gutierrez, 23, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she grabbed someone by the hair and punched them in the face.
