Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Aug. 17 — Cody P. Pavlik, 29, of Allison Park, was charged with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence after police said they stopped him Aug. 10 on Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Pavlik’s blood-alcohol content at 0.113%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Aug. 17 — Kristen Bussard, 21, of Harmony, and Kara Deprano, 42, of Boyers, were involved in a vehicle crash at the Lyndora exit ramp from New Castle Road. Police said both vehicles had moderate damage and were towed from the scene. Bussard was cited for following too closely.
Aug. 17 — Dustin Sams, 36, of Sligo, and Tino Bono, 69, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of New Castle Road and Moraine Point Plaza. Police said Sams turned left and struck Bono’s vehicle. Sams was flown via helicopter for his injuries. Sams was cited for traffic violations.
Aug. 16 — Brian J. Wilson, 32, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor harassment and a summary charge of disorderly conduct after police said he sent sexually graphic images via Facebook Messenger.
Aug. 17 — Alexander J. O’Dea, of Jefferson Hills, was charged with two misdemeanor thefts after police said he took a university sign and black patio chair off of the university’s property July 24. Police said O’Dea also was seen moving traffic cones and sitting in a university golf cart on surveillance footage.
Aug. 17 — Patricia L. Hammer, 63, of New Wilmington, was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital following a vehicle crash Aug. 16 on Bonniebook and Greatbelt roads, Jefferson Township. Police said Hammer failed to stop at a stop sign, and her vehicle collided with the vehicle of Emily Schiebel, 27, of Templeton.
Aug. 17 — Zachary L. Cook, 30, of Eau Claire, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Aug. 12 on West Eldorado Road, Washington Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later breath test showed Cook’s blood-alcohol content at 0.146%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Aug. 17 — Canton D. Blakey, 32, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft after police said he took nearly $500 worth of merchandise from Boscov’s in Center Township without paying for it.
Aug. 17 — Andrew S. Audo, 30, of Leechburg, was charged with misdemeanor harassment and a summary charge of disorderly conduct after police said he threatened to kill someone and used obscene language in a text conversation.
Aug. 16 — Cole M. Coon, 19, of East Brady, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Aug. 13 on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Coon’s blood-alcohol content at 0.167%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Aug. 15 — Malik L. Raines, 22, of McKees Rocks, was charged with a misdemeanor for possessing marijuana and two traffic citations after police said they stopped him March 8 on Interstate 79, Muddy Creek Township. Police said Raines was driving with a suspended license and marijuana was found in his vehicle during a search.
Aug. 12 — Mekhi L. Mackey, 19, of Crisfield, Md., was charged with felony theft after police said they stopped him in a stolen vehicle Aug. 11 on Interstate 79, Jackson Township. Police said the vehicle was registered as stolen by Maryland police.
Aug. 17 — Thomas L. Burgard, 40, of Evans City, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him July 18 on Pittsburgh Street, Harmony. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Burgard’s blood-alcohol content at 0.289%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
