Police Reports
These items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
May 11 — Joseph T. Bailie IV, 45, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct related to an incident with his neighbor. Police said they had to visit Bailie’s home three different times because Bailie had been aiming a speaker at his neighbor’s home while playing loud music. The first incident was at 1:30 a.m. Police noted Bailie was also drunk and on the third visit stepped outside and was yelling at his neighbor’s home. He was cited additionally with public drunkenness.
May 10 — Kaitlyn N. Long, 29, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor forgery related to a document she gave her employer May 3. Long’s employer told police she had given them a work excuse from a doctor. The doctor claims to have never seen Long as a patient.
May 11 — Zachary M. Wampler, 19, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence stemming from an April 23 traffic stop on Route 8 near Kelly Road, Clay Township. Police stopped the vehicle for unlit headlights. Police said field sobriety tests showed Wampler was impaired, and a later blood test showed controlled substances in his system. The itemized list of those substances was unavailable in court documents.
May 10 — Joshua P. Luchkiw, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI, drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession stemming from a Feb. 6 traffic stop on Route 422, Summit Township. Police stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Field sobriety tests showed Luchkiw was impaired, and a later blood test showed meth, benzoylecgonine, cocaine and fentanyl in his system. In charging documents, police did not mention what substances or paraphernalia were found.
May 10 — Travis R. Duttine, 28, of East Brady, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of simple assault, drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession, criminal mischief and child endangerment related to a domestic altercation. Police talked with Duttine’s girlfriend, who claimed he hit her on the head and slapped her. She also told officers Duttine regularly left drugs lying around, despite her 10-year-old daughter being in the home. Police found suspected meth and related paraphernalia amid Duttine’s belongings in the home.
May 9 — Andrew L. Wehr, 25, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of simple assault and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest related to a March 5 domestic altercation at the University Village Apartments, Slippery Rock Township. Police said Wehr had been fighting with the complex’s security guards and then resisted arrest by Slippery Rock University police officers. SRU officers tased Wehr. Troopers said Wehr was drunk, and they later talked to another man who said he had been assaulted by Wehr.
May 9 — Two separate cases were filed against Clifford D. Booher, 41, of New Castle.
In the first case, Booher is charged with felony counts of theft, possessing stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle related to a stolen vehicle. Police said Booher had used a woman’s vehicle for work, and he never returned with the car. The woman told police she saw Booher driving the vehicle in New Castle, and when she approached him, Booher fled. She told police Booher has yet to return the vehicle.
For the second case, Booher is charged with misdemeanor counts of theft and possessing stolen property stemming from a theft of Pizza Joe’s in Portersville. Police said Booher worked for the restaurant, and his employer claimed Booher failed to return from the delivery, resulting in a loss of about $210. The employer has not heard from Booher since.
