Cranberry Twp

May 3 — Angel Paris Jr., 56, of Latrobe, was charged with misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence stemming from an April 2 report of a reckless driver on Route 19.

Police said they stopped the described vehicle after witnessing it drive through a red light on the shoulder of the road. Field sobriety tests showed Paris was impaired, and a later blood test showed a prescribed medication in his system, which would have impacted his ability to drive, according to police.

May 3 — Shawn Ferrer, 46, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of patronizing prostitutes, possessing criminal instruments, drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to a Nov. 4 undercover operation. Police said Ferrer responded to an online advertisement and met with an undercover officer. Police said Ferrer brought a bag of cash, the cellphone used to make contact, marijuana and drug paraphernalia to the meeting location.

May 3 — Michael G. Arbuckle, 32, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony and misdemeanor for making false statements during a gun sale at Field and Stream. Police said Arbuckle was denied a pistol, and he failed to note his criminal history on the forms.

May 3 — Shatonia N. Skrine, 32, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor counts of theft and possessing stolen property related to a stolen iPhone from Fun For All. Police said security footage from the business shows Skrine take someone else’s phone and put it in her purse.

Slippery Rock University

May 3 — Frank A. Andy, 19, of Washington, was charged with misdemeanor theft and possessing stolen property related to Black Lives Matter and United Nations flags that were stolen from a common area on campus. Police said security footage shows Andy taking the flags.

State Police, Butler

May 4 — Amy M. Schiebel, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of drug and paraphernalia possession stemming from an April 28 traffic stop on Sunset Road in Center Township. Police stopped the vehicle for speeding at 51 mph in a 35-mph zone, according to documents. During the stop, police said, Schiebel gave officers permission to search the vehicle. Police found drug paraphernalia and six stamp bags of suspected heroin or fentanyl, one suboxone strip and two loose prescription pills, according to documents.

12:09 a.m. May 3 — Mark A. Johnson, 64, of Butler, was arrested and charged with felony drug sales, as well as misdemeanor counts of DUI, marijuana possession, drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession, related to a report of a disabled vehicle at the intersection of Freeport and Lindsay roads, Summit Township.

Police said they found Johnson in the driver’s seat, nodding in and out of consciousness. According to police, field sobriety tests showed Johnson was impaired. Police said they later searched the vehicle with Johnson’s permission and found suspected crack cocaine, 8 grams suspected powder cocaine, 8 grams of suspected powder cocaine and 8 grams of suspected marijuana.

Police said Johnson later submitted to blood tests. The results were not available in the affidavit.

May 3 — Nora A. Barker, 60, of Eau Claire, was charged with felony drug sales, as well as misdemeanor counts of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to a March 16 search of her home. Police had a warrant to search Barker’s home; she was not home at the time. Police found 282 stamp bags of suspected fentanyl, 17 grams of suspected cocaine and seven grams of suspected crack cocaine. Police said they also found three scales and an ID for Barker.
