Adams Twp

April 7 — Jerimiah J. Haskins, 39, of Mars, was charged with felony counts of device fraud and theft related to a Jan. 28 report of credit card fraud to an Adams Township resident.

Police said Haskins used the the resident’s debit card to make more than 75 charges amounting to about $2,080.

Butler Twp

4:10 p.m. April 8 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash along New Castle Road near Eat’n Park.

Police said Brittany Gilbert, 25, of Butler, was stopped for traffic when her vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Gina Goss, 36, of Butler. Both drivers and an infant in Gilbert’s vehicle were uninjured.

1:07 p.m. April 8 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Woodrow Street and Hansen Avenue.

Police said Cecili Snodgrass, 73, of Lyndora, lost control of her vehicle as she was putting it into drive. Police said her vehicle hit a parked car and a retaining wall at St. Michael the Archangel Church before flipping onto its passenger side. Police said Snodgrass was not injured.

Cranberry Twp

April 11 — Lawrence Sadowski, 38, of Ellwood City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and huffing related to a report of someone huffing an unknown substance in the Rite Aid parking lot in Cranberry Township.

Police said they found Sadowski behind the wheel of a vehicle and multiple canisters of huffing material in his vehicle. Police said field sobriety tests showed Sadowski was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana and difluoroethane in his system.

State Attorney General

April 7 — Alissa L. Rhoades, 21, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony counts of insurance fraud and theft related to a claim filed Nov. 11.

Investigators said Rhoades claimed a crash happened Nov. 5, shortly after making changes to her policy. Investigators said they discovered evidence that the crash occurred Oct. 29.

State Police, Butler

April 8 — Jordan C. Yusko, 23, of Jeannette, was charged with misdemeanor DUI stemming from a March 6 check on a disabled vehicle by patrolling troopers .

Police found Yusko asleep in the driver’s seat. Police said field sobriety tests showed Yusko was impaired, and a later blood test showed amphetamine and ethanol in Yusko’s system, as well as a blood-alcohol content of .194%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

April 6 — Chad A. Wimer, 30, of Prospect, was charged in two different cases.

One case was for a Jan. 28 incident. Police said Wimer stole scrap metal from a property on the 400 block of Pfeifer Road, Muddy Creek Township. In that case, Wimer is charged with misdemeanors trespass and theft.

The other case was for a Feb. 2 incident. Police said Wimer stole copper pipe from the same location. Police said Wimer was being confronted by the property owner when they arrived. He was arrested and charged again with misdemeanor trespass and theft.

April 6 — Stephen J. Rigatti, 36, of Natrona Heights, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a March 6 vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 228 and Freeport Street, Clinton Township.

Police found a vehicle crashed into a pine tree on the side of the road. The vehicle’s air bags deployed. Police said field sobriety tests showed Rigatti was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at .148%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

April 6 — Kenneth K. Miller, 36, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a vehicle crash Feb. 18 at the intersection of North Pike and Marwood roads, Jefferson Township.

Police found a vehicle stuck in mud near a utility pole. Police said field sobriety tests showed Miller was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at .146%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.
