These items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Feb. 9 — Emily F. McCormick, 34, of Cranberry, was charged with driving under the influence due to an incident at North Boundary Road and Franklin Road Jan. 26.
Police said McCormick failed to yield at a stop sign and her vehicle went off the roadway and became stuck in a snowbank. Police said field sobriety tests showed McCormick to be impaired and a later blood test showed her blood alcohol content to be 0.176%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.
Feb. 8 — Tara R. Bensing, 34, of New Brighton, was charged with a third-degree felony retail theft after police said surveillance footage showed her taking nearly $200 worth of items from Walmart. Bensing’s two prior retail theft convictions resulted in the charge.

Feb. 9 — Alyssa M. Garcia, 33, of Sarver, was charged with DUI of the highest rate stemming from a traffic stop Jan. 9.
Police said Garcia showed signs of impairment after field sobriety tests, and she was taken for blood tests.
Feb. 11 — Charles C. Meinsler, 38, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespass, related to a complaint made Jan. 18 about an incident on the 300 block of South Washington Street in Butler.
Police said when they arrived, they found Meinsler on the property, despite a court ordered eviction, barring him from being there.
Feb. 11 — Devin J. Smith, 34, of Butler, was charged with DUI after police witnessed an accident occur at 10:12 p.m. Feb. 10 on West Wayne Street near South Jackson Street in Butler.
Police said Smith did not stop at the stop sign and hit another vehicle. Police said Smith admitted to drinking earlier, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Smith was taken for a breath test, but did not provide further details.
Feb. 10 — Junior A. Meyers, 36, who has an unknown address, was charged with misdemeanor possessing drugs and paraphernalia, related to a Dec. 2 encounter with police in Butler.
Police said while on patrol, they saw Meyers staggering as he walked near the Broad Street Elementary School while children were being dropped off by parents. Meyers refused to identify himself, and then later misidentified himself.
After arresting him for public intoxication, officers also found suspected crack cocaine and a smoking pipe.
Feb. 4 — Dylan M. Austin, 22, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession, related to a Jan. 25 search of an apartment on the 300 block of West Diamond Street. Police said Austin was at the apartment when authorities entered, and they found him with meth, which field-tested positive.
Feb. 12 — James R. Hagen, 27, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and marijuana possession, related to a Feb. 12 single-vehicle crash on Route 8 near the Greater Butler Mart in Butler Township.
Hagen was spotted walking away from the scene along Route 8, heading toward Picklegate Bridge. Police stopped him, and he allegedly admitted he crashed the vehicle and left it there.
Police said they smelled alcohol and saw a plastic bag sticking out of his pocket. Police said Hagen told officers the bag contained a marijuana vape pen, which they confirmed. Police said field sobriety tests showed Hagen was impaired, and Hagen later refused to have his blood tested.
Feb. 8 — Clark E. Weber, 62, of Saxonburg, was charged with retail theft after police said he left Walmart with 24 clothing items totaling nearly $500.
Feb. 10 — Christian T. Woodside, 21, of Kittanning, was charged with DUI, stemming from a Feb. 6 traffic stop on Midway Alley in Slippery Rock.
Police said the stopped the vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Woodside was impaired.
Police said a later breath test showed Woodside’s blood-alcohol content at .148%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.
Feb. 16 — Bentley C. Ace, 29, of West Sunbury, was charged with felony and misdemeanor making false statements during a gun purchase, related to an attempted purchase Feb. 15 2020, at Rural King in Center Township.
Police said Ace was denied the purchase of a pistol due to a history of mental illness which he denied on his application.
Feb. 11 — Delmas Hayes III, 26, of Butler, was charged with DUI, stemming from a Feb. 7 traffic stop on the 300 block of Unionville Road in Franklin Township.
Police stopped the vehicle for an expired temporary registration out of Ohio. Police said they smelled marijuana in the vehicle, and Hayes admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle. Police said they searched the vehicle and found three grams of marijuana in the vehicle and a smoking device.
Feb. 8 — Lori, R. Farris, 62, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony risking catastrophe and several summary offenses, including abandoning a vehicle on private property and failure to report an accident to police in Clay Township. Police said Farris left her vehicle stranded on railroad tracks on Kildoo Road.
Feb. 7 — Deana M. Rall, 48, of Butler, was charged with DUI, stemming from a Dec. 23 traffic stop on Mercer Street near American Avenue in Butler.
Police stopped the vehicle for turning without signaling. Police said Rall’s hands were shaking and her pupils were dilated. Field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and during a search of the vehicle officers found crack cocaine, a smoking pipe and syringes.
Police said a later blood test showed cocaine and fentanyl in her system.
Feb. 5 — Shane J. McDevitt, 36, of New Castle, was arrested and charged with felony fleeing and misdemeanor DUI, stemming from a traffic stop on Washington and West Cunningham streets in Butler.
Police stopped the vehicle for failing to use lights at night and noted snow was obscuring the windshield. Police said when they approached the vehicle they saw a suspected crack pipe on the passenger seat.
Police said after speaking with McDevitt for a brief period, he drove away from officers. Police chased McDevitt to Saxonburg, where he again pulled over. Police said they had seen McDevitt smoking out of the pipe during the chase. Police said the pipe was recovered after McDevitt’s arrest.
Feb. 3 — Gabrylle D. McGuire, 24, of Coraopolis, was charged with DUI, stemming from a Jan. 9 traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Locust streets.
Police stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road and nearly hitting the curb. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed McGuire was impaired.
A later breath test showed McGuire’s blood-alcohol content at .105%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% or greater is considered intoxicated.
Feb. 9 — William E. Amon, 37, of Rimersburg, was charged with DUI of alcohol and of a controlled substance, use and possession of drug paraphernalia and several other misdemeanors, while Andrew T. Delucia, 43, of Greenville, was charged with intentional possession of a controlled substance and lying to a uniformed officer due to an incident in Buffalo Township Dec. 14.
Police said Amon was identified as a suspended driver. After being read his rights, Amon produced a jar of crushed morphine and Vicodin from his vehicle, according to police. Delucia was identified as the passenger and was allegedly found in possession of two suboxone pills after police said he lied about his name. Delucia had a warrant out for his arrest in Mercer County.
Feb. 9 — Edge W. Kerry, 28, of Karns City, was charged with several misdemeanors, including use and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop in Buffalo Township.
Police said Kerry was identified as a suspended driver with previous charges. A vehicle search resulted in a brick of heroin being discovered under the driver’s seat, according to police.
