These items were collected from various police departments:

Jan. 5 — Cody P. Grim, 35, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft and possession of stolen property related to items taken Nov. 6 and Nov. 7 from Walmart in Cranberry Township.Police said that on Nov. 6 Grim allegedly took about $64 worth of items and destroyed a $25 security device. Police said that on Nov. 7 Grim tried to leave with about $162 worth of items, but was stopped by store employees.Jan. 4 — Two people were charged in relation to a March 16 retail theft at the AT&T store in Cranberry Township.Heather L. Bloom, 39, of Natrona Heights, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft, possession of stolen property and drug paraphernalia possession after police said she was caught stealing multiple items from the store valued at $356.Police said Bloom's boyfriend, Timothy L. Hamilton, 42, of Bridgeville, approached an officer with his hands in his pocket and refused to remove his hands. Police said for their safety, they forcibly removed his hand and he was arrested.Hamilton is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.Jan. 4 — Leigh Ann Lasker, 43, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a first-offense DUI related to a three-vehicle crash on Route 228 near the Interstate 79 South ramp in Cranberry Township.Police said Lasker said the collision was her fault and told officers she was looking at her cellphone while driving. Police said they also smelled alcohol, and field sobriety tests showed Lasker was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Lasker's blood-alcohol content at 0.147%, and in Pennsylvania a level of 0.08% or greater is considered intoxicated.Jan. 4 — Kyle L. Leisie, 26, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a Nov. 24 traffic stop on Route 19 in Cranberry Township.Police said they stopped Leisie's vehicle for traveling greater than 80 mph in a 55 mph zone, among other traffic violations. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Leisie was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Leisie's blood-alcohol content at 0.178%, and in Pennsylvania a level of 0.08% or greater is considered intoxicated.

Jan. 4 — Two people were charged with possession of stolen property, related to appliances taken from their former rental.George S. Zimmerman, 41, and Christina M. Rokoski, 43, both of Mars, were charged after their former landlord told officers the two had taken appliances from a rental property the pair moved from in November.Police said they made contact with Rokoski, who confirmed they took washer and dryer units from the rental.

Jan. 4 — Tyler A. Albright IV, 29, of Butler, was charged with felony and misdemeanor drug sales as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession stemming from a Nov. 12, 2020, traffic stop on West New Castle Street in Butler.Police said they stopped the vehicle after seeing sparks coming from underneath it. Police said they then smelled marijuana in the vehicle.Police said they searched Albright and found about 3 grams of suspected marijuana in his pockets. Police said in a gym bag, officers found 105 pills of suspected alprazolam, vape cartridges and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.Jan. 3 — Trisha M. McGinty, 42, of Sharpsville, was charged with felony DUI following a single-vehicle crash on Johnson Road in Muddy Creek Township on June 6.Police said McGinty, the driver, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police said during an interview, McGinty admitted to using alcohol and drugs before driving.Police said they used a warrant to access McGinty's medical records from that night, which showed amphetamines and marijuana in her system.Jan. 2 — James J. Kelly, 32, of Butler, was charged with DUI related to a Nov. 28 traffic stop on Jefferson Street in Butler.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Kelly was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed marijuana and gabapentin in Kelly's system as well as a blood-alcohol content at 0.011%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% or greater is considered intoxicated.
