7:31 p.m. Nov. 16 — Both persons allegedly involved in a domestic dispute on the 100 block of West Jefferson Street in Butler were arrested and charged with misdemeanor simple assault.Police arrived and spoke with Robby L. Killmeyer, 40, of Butler, and Melissa M. Ofchinick, 47, of Butler, and collected both of their stories.Ofchinick allegedly repeatedly slammed Killmeyer's hand in a door, and Killmeyer allegedly hit Ofchinick in the face near her right eye.
Nov. 15 — Two people were charged related to an Oct. 17 report by employees of Walmart in Butler Township.Celina M. Rains, 29, of Butler, and Justin M. Delancey, 31, of Butler, were charged with misdemeanors of unauthorized device access, theft and criminal conspiracy.Multiple cameras allegedly captured the two searching the parking lot for discarded receipts, and then the two would go inside, pick up the items and then return them as if they had purchased them.Nov. 15 — Holly L. Ellis, 50, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft and stolen property possession as well as misdemeanor defiant trespass, related to an Aug. 20 incident at Walmart in Butler Township.A store employee stopped Ellis after viewing video allegedly showing Ellis taking items throughout the store and failing to pay for them. The video allegedly shows Ellis trying to steal 44 items worth a total of about $516.Ellis had previously been warned not to return to the store after an incident May 13, 2020.Nov. 15 — Isaiah M.D. Canterbury, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash Oct. 20 in the parking lot of Walmart in Butler Township.Police viewed video footage of the incident taken by a witness, and later matched the license plate to one registered to Canterbury.12:07 p.m. Sept. 20 — Police responded to an alleged assault at Butler Senior High School in Butler Township.As a result of the investigation, police charged two female juvenile students with misdemeanors simple assault for allegedly beating another juvenile female student. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Nov. 15 — Hilary M. McCrea, 31, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia possession, related to a Nov. 2 probation visit.Officers and detectives said during the search they found 18 stamp bags of heroin or fentanyl and several hundred empty stamp bags, needles and prescription pills.
Nov. 16 — Jonathan J.J. Stout, 20, of Washington, Pa., was charged with a first-offense DUI related to a traffic stop on the Central Loop on SRU's campus.Police stopped the vehicle for traveling erratically, and field sobriety tests showed Stout was impaired. A later breath sample showed Stout's blood-alcohol content at 0.101%, and in Pennsylvania a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.
Nov. 17 — Joshua M. Tierno, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession, related to a Sept. 29 traffic stop on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.Police stopped the vehicle after the registration showed it was suspended due to insurance cancellation. Tierno allowed police to search the vehicle, and they said they found a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance. The substance was not identified in the affidavit.Nov. 15 — Kassandra Walker, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors of drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession and driving on a suspended license, related to a July 24 traffic stop on Rotue 28 in Buffalo Township.Police stopped the vehicle for a broken brake light. Police believe Walker and her passenger bought 50 stamp bags of heroin or fentanyl in Pittsburgh. Police said Walker hid the drugs inside her body, and 48 bags were eventually seized.Nov. 15 — David E. Bigler, 56, of Butler, was charged with felony drug sales and use of a communication facility as well as misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia possession, related to a Nov. 29 controlled buy in Oakland Township.According to police, a confidential informant bought 27 grams of cocaine from Bigler.Nov. 14 — Jennifer L. Cornelius, 23, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft and possessing stolen property, related to a report made April 29.Police said they spoke with Cornelius' employer, the owner of a salon, who claimed cash was being skimmed. The employer claimed she had written records of the business' cash, and every time Cornelius worked money would go missing.The employer also accused Cornelius of stealing multiple items. Between cash and items, Cornelius is accused of taking about $115 and an estimated $892 worth of items.
Nov. 16 — Nikko A. Ceoffe, 28, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor child endangerment, simple assault and reckless endangerment, related to a Nov. 15 domestic incident on the 600 block of West New Castle Street.Police arrived and spoke with Ceoffe's girlfriend, who had a deep cut on her face. She allegedly told officers that Ceoffe was angry with her after her 11-month-old baby started crying and threw an iPad at her face. Police also noticed bruising around the eyes.Ceoffe had left the home before police arrived, and officers were unable to make contact later in their investigation.
