4:15 p.m. July 25 — Hector Roman, 30, who is homeless, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a vehicle crash and a first-offense DUI, related to a hit and run on Route 228 in Adams Township.Police said they found Roman in a vehicle matching the description of the report they received. Roman appeared drunk. Police said Roman was unable to provide identification, and they found a cold 30-pack of beer with only 23 beers remaining.Police said that, following his arrest, Roman refused to have his breath tested.
July 26 — Joshua M. Crispin, 33, of Butler, was charged with leaving the scene of a July 23 vehicle crash at the intersection of North Monroe and East Brady streets in Butler.Police said Crispin ran a stop sign and caused the crash with another vehicle. Police said witnesses saw Crispin flee on foot following the crash. Police talked with Crispin, who admitted to running the stop sign and being involved in the crash.Police said Crispin also has a suspended driver's license.July 25 — Donte Brandon, 26, of Butler, was charged with felony burglary and simple assault, related to a break-in on Wick Street in Butler.Police said Brandon broke into his ex-girlfriend's house to confront her over a problem in their relationship. Police said there was notable holes and visible damage to exterior and interior doors.July 23 — Crystal M. Webb, 41, of Butler, was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.Police said they found Webb, who they knew to have an active warrant for her arrest. During the arrest, they found crack cocaine inside a backpack Webb had with her.
July 22 — Katelyn M. Wiley, 30, of West Sunbury, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a July 16 traffic stop on Benbrook Road in Butler Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for speeding, going 57 mph in a 45 mph zone. Police said field sobriety tests showed Wiley was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.100%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.July 21 — Tricia L. Christy, 50, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a June 26 tip to police about a drunk driver parked on Roe Avenue in Butler Township.Police said when they found Christy, she only had one shoe on, and was using the vehicle to help her stand. Police said Christy refused to perform field sobriety tests, but a later blood test showed her blood-alcohol content was 0.300%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.
July 26 — Myron M. Miller, 42, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a May 21 traffic stop on New Castle Road in Butler Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for illegal window tint. Police said field sobriety testing showed Miller was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in his system.July 26 — David P. Seachrist, 36, of East Brady, was arrested for a second-offense DUI, related to a June 24 traffic stop. Police said they stopped the vehicle for speeding, going around 115 to 120 mph.An officer saw marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Seachrist's vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. A testing of Seachrist's blood returned positive for marijuana.12:40 a.m. July 24 — Robert E. Lockskin, 26, of Butler, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and giving false identification to an officer, stemming from a traffic stop on South Cliff Street.Police said they stopped the vehicle for a broken tail light and window tint. Police said Lockskin gave officers the vehicle owner's name instead of his own. Police discovered Lockskin's identity at the scene and found that he had an active warrant for his arrest.Police said while Lockskin was being placed in the cruiser, he was pushing back against officers and later repeatedly hit his head against one of the windows.July 23 — Justin O. Newman, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of possessing a controlled substance, related to a June 29 investigation into a driver who left the scene of a crash.Police said they found Newman exiting the passenger side of a vehicle and appeared to take a pill bottle out of his pocket and put it in the car. Police said they later found various pills inside the bottle as well as suspected crystal meth. Police said other paraphernalia was also found and for which Newman was also charged.July 23 — Terry J. Lowe, 53, of West Liberty, Ohio, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a July 4 traffic stop on Prospect Road in Brady Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for multiple traffic violations. Police said field sobriety tests showed Lowe was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content was 0.102%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.July 23 — Raekwon K. Caldwell, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a June 26 traffic stop on southbound Interstate 79 in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped the vehicle for a suspended registration. Police said Caldwell admitted to smoking marijuana recently, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said Caldwell later refused to have his blood tested.July 23 — Logan R. Aydelott, 23, of Slippery Rock Township, was arrested for a first DUI offense on July 14.Police said they initiated a traffic stop on Aydelott's vehicle when it was speeding and failed to maintain its lane. Police said they smelled alcohol in Aydelott's vehicle, and a breath test showed his blood-alcohol content over the legal limit. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated. The test results were not available in the affidavit.July 22 — Police charged Raymond G. Felsing, 31, of Cabot, with a first-offense DUI following a May 9 vehicle crash in Winfield Township.Police said there was an open beer in the vehicle, and Felsing admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that day.Police said a later blood test showed marijuana was in his system.July 22 — Danyel L. Shaw, 34, of Butler, was charged with possessing a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, stemming from a June 25 traffic stop on West Wayne Street in Butler.Police said they stopped the vehicle for a broken headlight. Police said they smelled marijuana, and Shaw smoked earlier that day. Police said Shaw initially denied their request to search the car, but changed her mind after they told her they would impound the car while they could request a search warrant.Police said inside the car they found an Adderall pill, marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.July 22 — Police charged Leonard J. Sunday, 47, of Jefferson Township, with a second-offense DUI.Police initiated a traffic stop on Sunday for an expired vehicle registration, and field sobriety tests showed Sunday was impaired.Sunday blew a 0.240% on a Breathalyzer. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.
July 23 — Bailey A. Wilson, 23, of Zelienople, was charged with simple assault, related to a fight she allegedly had with her boyfriend.According to police, Wilson's boyfriend told officers the couple had got into an argument, so he went into his room and shut the door. He told officers Wilson had tried to kick in the door while trying to kick him out. He told officers Wilson entered the room, broke items in the room and then punched him, scratched him and bit him in the head.Police said they saw injuries to the boyfriend consistent with his story. Police said they also talked with Wilson, who said she had wanted the boyfriend to leave and who said the two had shoved each other.
