These items were collected from various police departments:

1:15 a.m. June 9 — Michelle L. Johnston, 36, of Ellwood City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an impromptu encounter.Police said the woman was acting erratically, which led to an investigation. Police said they found suspected crack cocaine in a vehicle Johnston had been in, and they found suspected meth and a syringe on her person.

June 7 — Devon G. Poupore, 26, of Evans City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a May 27 probation visit.Detectives said probation officers found Poupore high on heroin or fentanyl in his home during a routine check. Detectives said Poupore admitted to the drug use, and there were 36 full stamp bags of either suspected heroin or fentanyl.

5:21 a.m. June 13 — Anna L. Polezhaev, 33, of McDonald, Tenn., was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment, stemming from a domestic dispute with her husband at the Mariott Pittsburgh North in Cranberry Township.Police said they arrived to find Polezhaev's husband with a bloody nose. Police said Polezhaev admitted to hitting her husband in the face with a TV remote control. Police said the husband said he was afraid of his wife and no longer wanted to be around her.

June 10 — Kayla B. Thompson, 26, of Grove City, was charged with two counts of theft related to the theft of money and a check from two employees at Slippery Rock Area High School in April of 2020.Police are accusing Thompson, who worked at the school at the time, of stealing roughly $100 and a $1,000 check from two different purses of two employees. Police said Thompson said she did not know why she was being blamed, but she would pay back the victims their missing money.

June 10 — Alec J. Barbella, 25, of Lyndora, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a June 4 traffic stop on Pittsburgh Road in Butler Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for speeding at 72 mph in a 50-mph zone. Police said field sobriety tests showed Barbella was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.105%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 9 — Edward C. Barnat, 19, of Baden, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI following a one-vehicle crash May 2 on Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township.Police said Barnat was traveling too fast when he lost control of the vehicle. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test was conducted. Police said Barnat admitted there was marijuana present in his system.June 9 — Crystal D. Hershey, 41, of Harrisville, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a May 28 traffic stop on Route 422 in Franklin Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for a broken headlight and for crossing lines on the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Hershey was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.191%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 9 — Richard M. Nolan, 30, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI following a May 15 vehicle crash on Dick Road in Connoquenessing Township.Police said they arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in which Nolan was involved. Police said they smelled marijuana while speaking with Nolan, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said Nolan declined to have his blood tested.June 9 — Nina M. Grossman, 36, of Evans City, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a June 6 vehicle accident on Brownsdale Road in Forward Township.Police said they arrived to find a single-vehicle accident and the driver, Grossman, disoriented. Police said field sobriety tests showed Grossman was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.143%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 9 — Kelli S. Moodie, 21, of Philadelphia, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI following an investigation into a disabled vehicle April 19 on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.Police said they found Moodie still in the vehicle after hitting a deer. Police said drug recognition testing showed Moodie was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana in her system.Police said they also found multiple stashes of marijuana in the vehicle, which prompted 12 additional counts of marijuana possession and 11 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.June 9 — Alton L. Henderson, 25, of Ellwood City, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a single-vehicle crash June 5 on Country Lane in Brady Township.Police said while Henderson was the driver, the owner of the vehicle was the passenger, who was taken to Grove City Hospital for treatment. Police said Henderson completed a breath test, which showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.125%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 9 — Gregory A. Gargasz, 43, of Volant, was charged with multiple misdemeanors related to him leaving the scene of an accident May 24 on Interstate 79 that involved injuries to those in other vehicles.Police said they arrived at an accident where only one vehicle was left on the road after it had been struck from behind, causing it to careen into an embankment that flipped it on its roof.Police said information led them to Gargasz, who admitted to being involved in the crash and leaving the scene because he feared repercussions for not having a valid license.June 9 — John W. Ealy, 52, of Fenelton, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a June 6 domestic dispute on McShane Road in Clearfield Township.Police said Ealy threatened another man with a baseball bat. Police said Ealy admitted to the threat and said he did so because the man made a derogatory gesture toward him.June 8 — Jeffrey D. McMillen, 29, of Saxonburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.Police said McMillen requested them for crisis intervention, and he handed over 84 pills that were not properly packaged or prescribed to him.1:41 a.m. June 5 — Michael W. Morris, 51, of Saxonburg, was arrested and charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a traffic stop on Route 228 in Clinton Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Morris was impaired.

June 8 — Courtney J. Petrishen, 32, of Brackenridge, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a May 8 traffic stop on Butler Road in Buffalo Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road and suspended registration. Police said field sobriety tests showed Petrishen was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.202%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.

June 11 — Jed M. Beachem, 33, of Zelienople, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a fight on North Milton Street in Zelienople.Police said when they arrived they found Beachem restrained by his brother with both men having injuries. Police said they ordered Beachem's brother to release him, but Beachem immediately began punching his brother.Police said Harmony EMS responded to evaluate both brothers' injuries.
