These items were collected from various police departments:

Elizabeth Parsons, 29, of Sarver, was charged with child endangerment, stemming from a May 14 incident in Sarver.Police said they saw Parsons driving a vehicle and knew she had a suspended license. They waited for her to return to her home, at which point they investigated.Police said Parsons had been driving without her infant child. Police said Parsons admitted to leaving her son at home without supervision.

May 29 — James C. Tiskus, 38, of Valencia, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault related to a domestic dispute with his girlfriend at their home.Police said Tiskus admitted to shoving his girlfriend near her throat and then grabbing her in that area to prevent her from falling and getting hurt.Police said the girlfriend claimed Tiskus choked her and pushed her to the ground, and he was choking her to the point she couldn't breathe.Tiskus was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

May 26 — Kurtis M. Guntrum, 30, of Shippenville, was charged with felonies of theft of leased property and receiving stolen property, related to a rented vehicle that never was returned.Police said Guntrum rented a 2021 Nissan Rouge from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, but he has yet to return the vehicle.

May 25 — Jason J. McCray, 42, of Union City, was charged with felony DUI involving a high rate of alcohol, stemming from a May 20 traffic stop on Franklin Street in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped McCray's vehicle for speeding at about 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Police said field sobriety tests showed McCray was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content was 0.172%.In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated. McCray has three prior DUI convictions.

June 1 — Lucas A. Watson, 20, of Monaca, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a May 30 traffic stop in the parking lot of Sheetz in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped the vehicle after watching it strike a parking pillar. Police said an empty bottle of liquor was visible on the passenger floor.Police said field sobriety tests showed Watson was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.195%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 1 — Benjamin L. Hogg, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a May 28 traffic stop on Route 8 in Brady Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing the fog lines. Police said field sobriety tests showed Hogg was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content was 0.164%.In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.June 1 — Justin O. Newman, 32, of Slippery Rock, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, stemming from a June 1 traffic stop on East Water Street in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped the vehicle because its owner's license was suspended. Police said they searched the vehicle and found a hypodermic needle on the dashboard and a bundle of heroin between the seat and center console.May 26 — Kiyon W. Santos, 33, of Thiells, N.Y., was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a March 27 traffic stop on Rebecca Lane in Slippery Rock Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for multiple traffic violations, including failure to yield to a stop sign.Police said field sobriety tests showed Santos was impaired, and a breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.141%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.May 26 — Kameron D. Fisher, 19, of Hermitage, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI, stemming from a March 13 traffic stop on Parklane Drive in Slippery Rock.Police said they stopped the vehicle for a number of violations, including speeding and weaving in its lane. Police said Fisher admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that day.Police said they searched the vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana. Police said field sobriety tests showed Fisher was impaired, and a later blood test confirmed the substance in his system.May 26 — Justin O. Newman, 32, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI, stemming from a April 21 incident in the parking lot of the Country Corner Store in Slippery Rock.Police said Newman was found slumped over in his vehicle. Police said field sobriety tests showed Newman was impaired, and later blood tests found amphetamine, methamphetamine, fluoxetine, fentanyl and norfentanyl in his system.May 25 — Zachary R. Dunkle, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a April 25 traffic stop on Route 8 in Brady Township.Police said they stopped Dunkle's vehicle for crossing both the fog and center lines. Police said field sobriety tests showed Dunkle was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.102%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.
