10:31 a.m. May 1 — George Cedeno Jr., 29, of Reading, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct stemming from an incident at Cubs Hall, 113 S. McKean St. Police said they were dispatched for a report of a suspicious man, and they arrived to find Cedeno confused and agitated. Police were called at least four times to disturbances caused by Cedeno that day.
12:19 p.m. May 1 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 422 westbound in Butler Township. Police said Paul McAfee, 48, of Lyndora, was cited in the incident, during which he struck a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old from Butler. Injuries were not noted in the report.12:02 p.m. May 1 — Police responded to a four-car wreck on New Castle Road in Butler Township. Police said Susan Herman, 50, of New Castle failed to stop when her vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Christopher Fonseca, 34, of Deland, Fla. The crash affected vehicles driven by Shirley Cammmisa, 83, of Butler, and Robert Herman, 71, of Butler.9:08 a.m. May 1 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Villa Drive in Butler Township. Police said the crash involved drivers Robert Hernandez-Camacho, 35, of Butler, and Dalton Stephens, 18, of Butler. The cause was not listed in the report. Police said Hernandez-Camacho reported a minor injury, but did not request medical treatment.April 29 — Karissa A. Giles, 33, of Sligo, was charged with felony illegal possession of a firearm and loaning it to a convicted felon. Police said they encountered Giles while serving an arrest warrant for her boyfriend Feb. 10. The following day, a 9 mm pistol fully loaded with one round in the chamber was found near where the arrest took place. Police said in a Feb. 12 interview, Giles admitted to owning the gun and to loaning it her boyfriend.
April 29 — Erica Marx, 40, of Pittsburgh, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft. Police said Marx was attempting to steal about $130 worth of merchandise when she was stopped by store employees. Police said they arrested Marx and during a search found four used stamp bags and other drug paraphernalia.April 29 — Arthur D. Sider Jr., 54, of Zelienople, was charged with retail theft. Police said Sider was stopped by Walmart employees, who found him with about $181 of stolen items.
April 29 — Laura A. Whyel, 32, of Glassport, was charged with a first-offense, controlled substance DUI stemming from an April 17 traffic stop on Route 228 in Cranberry Township. Police said they stopped the vehicle for lapsed registration. Police said field sobriety tests indicated Whyel was impaired, and a later blood test revealed buprenorphine and norbuprenorphine in her system.
2:21 a.m. May 2 — William D. McGregor, 31, of Slippery Rock, was arrested and charged with a felony, fourth-offense DUI stemming from a traffic stop on Route 8 in Brady Township. Police said they stopped the vehicle because McGregor had been driving on the berm. Police said a field sobriety test indicated he was impaired, and they found a half-empty can of beer in the car. Police said testing showed McGregor's blood-alcohol content at 0.190%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.April 29 — Ronald P. Supples, 59, of Butler, was charged with a felony, third-offense DUI following a June 12 incident on West Sunbury Road in Center Township.Police said they were called to a crash and found a vehicle stuck in a ditch. Police said the driver, Supples, was put through a series of field sobriety tests that indicated he was impaired.Police said Supples refused a breath test.April 29 — Seth J. McCrea, 22, of Fenelton, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a Feb. 7 traffic stop on Route 8 in Clay Township. Police said they stopped the vehicle for expired registration.Police said field sobriety tests indicated McCrea was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.119%.In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.April 29 — Cory R. Mashuda, 35, Butler, was charged with theft in connection with utility trailer reported missing Oct. 24 from a job site in New Stanton. Police said multiple witnesses saw Mashuda on Sept. 21 leave the job site using the missing trailer.April 29 — Daniel B. Frampton, 42, of Harrisville, was charged with a second-offense DUI after a one-vehicle accident March 20 on West Sunbury Road in Cherry Township. Police said Frampton had been taken to the hospital for injuries suffered in the crash. Police said at the hospital, Frampton admitted to drinking before the crash, and his blood was later tested. The blood test results were not listed in the affidavit.April 29 — Crystal L. Bailey, 43, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI after a March 27 traffic stop on Route 8 in Center Township. Police said they stopped the vehicle for speeding and other violations. Police said field sobriety tests indicated she was impaired. Police said Bailey later refused a breath test.April 19 — Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Oneida Valley Road in Concord Township. Police cited the driver, Holly J. McDonald, 53, of Butler, with leaving the road. Police said McDonald and a passenger, Timothy P. Butler, 51, of Butler, were taken by ambulance to a hospital.April 19 — Zane S. Perry, 30, of Butler, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a Jan. 23 traffic stop on Center Avenue in Butler Township. Police said they stopped the vehicle for an illegal tint. Police said they smelled marijuana while speaking with Perry, who was the driver. Police said Perry would not allow them to search his vehicle.Police had the vehicle towed and requested a warrant. They later searched the vehicle and allegedly found four fentanyl patches inside.
