5:20 a.m. Wednesday — Tara A. Strobel, 22, of Butler, was charged with simple assault in connection with a reported domestic dispute. According to court documents, police talked with Strobel and the victim.Police said the victim's injuries matched their version of events.Wednesday — Heather A. Wagner, 41, of Butler, was charged in connection with a hit-and-run vehicle crash.According to court documents, a two-vehicle crash occurred Feb. 3 at the intersection of West Brady and North Jackson streets.Police said they have video footage showing Wagner driving a blue Pontiac in the vicinity of the crash's time and place. Damage to vehicle was consistent with the reported crash.Police said the damages were estimated at $1,261.Wagner was charged with a misdemeanor for an accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property and a related traffic violation.
1:39 a.m. Wednesday — April L. Hall, 39, of Butler, has been charged with public drunkeness. Police said they found Hall drunk at Sheetz, 1100 Center Ave., Butler.3:50 p.m. Tuesday — Police investigated a two-car crash on Route 8 in front of Days Inn. Police said Kimberly Cameron, 47, of Butler, was stopped for a school bus when she was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Cory McVicker, 36, of Butler. McVicker was cited for the violation.
Tuesday — Jouline L. Walker, 31, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI along with other traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop in Butler. According to court documents, police stopped her Jan. 21 near the intersection of North Monroe Street and East Jefferson Street after observing tinted windows.Police said they put Walker through field sobriety tests, which indicated she was impaired.According to documents, police later took Walker to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood draw, which showed fentanyl, clonazepam, methamphetamine and xylazine in her system.Monday — Christopher Chuhra, 40, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a traffic stop. He was pulled over around 2 a.m. Feb. 8, after a check on his registration showed his license to be DUI suspended, according to police.According to court documents, police put Chuhra through field sobriety tests, which indicated he was impaired.Police said they later gave Chuhra a breath test, which showed his blood-alcohol level at 0.128%. The legal limit blood-alcohol limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.Monday — Nicholas J. Weber, 21, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI stemming from a traffic stop in Butler. According to court documents, police pulled him over around 9 p.m. Feb. 16 near the intersection of North Main Street Extension and Evans Road for multiple lights being out.Police said Weber admitted to smoking marijuana before driving, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.According to documents, police found marijuana and paraphernalia in Weber's pockets, and a later blood draw at Butler Memorial Hospital revealed marijuana in his system.
