2:30 p.m. Feb. 7 — Police said they found Andrew J. McCue, 34, with five empty stamp bags used to package drugs after they went to his apartment on the 300 block of West Jefferson Street for a noise complaint.
Two officers went to McCue’s apartment and he allowed them in, police said. While police were inside, the defendant’s cell phone rang. When he picked up the phone to answer it, according to court documents, the stamp bags fell from it.
McCue denied the bags were his, police said, but he could not say why they were with his cell phone. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
2:12 p.m. Feb. 7 — Two Portersville women were allegedly caught with drug contraband following a traffic stop on the 500 block of West Cunningham Street. Kara Y. Garvin, 22, the driver, had a marijuana roach, and Stephanie L. Nye, 28, of Portersville, the passenger, had suspected marijuana, police said.
Garvin is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. She also was cited for driving without a license and driving a vehicle without valid inspection. Nye is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

10:07 a.m. Feb. 4 — A Washington County woman was allegedly caught with suspected marijuana and a marijuana pipe after she was arrested on a Butler County bench warrant in Lyndora. Police found Norma J. Reges, 47, of Washington after they got a call for two women yelling outside a home of the 600 block of Bessemer Avenue.
Reges is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 3 — Robyn J. Dicola, 50, of Butler Township was arraigned on charges that she called in fake prescriptions for Ambien and Xanax at the Point Plaza Rite Aid pharmacy, pretending to be an employee at a mental and behavioral health care facility, between Jan. 1, 2015, and May 21, 2016.
She was arraigned on a felony charge of acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud, and released on her own recognizance.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Butler[/naviga:h3]
7:41 a.m. Saturday — Alex J. Peace, 23, of Clarion was injured when he apparently fell asleep and lost control of his SUV, traveling up an embankment and barrel-rolling on Interstate 79 just north of East Lancaster Road in Lancaster Township. The SUV traveled down an embankment and landed on its roof.
An ambulance took Peace to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh with unknown injuries. His vehicle had to be towed.
10:47 a.m. Feb. 7 — Jared A. Armstrong, 23, of Philadelphia lost control of his car and struck a traffic sign on Kiester Road at Cameron Drive in Slippery Rock Township. The car sustained moderate damage. The sign was also damaged. Police cited Armstrong for disregarding traffic lanes.
9:14 a.m. Feb. 7 — A Beaver County woman was injured in a rollover crash on I-79 in Muddy Creek Township. The wreck occurred when Samantha Jo Anderson, 23, of Midland lost control of her SUV on an ice patch, sliding off the road, hitting a tree and rolling over on an embankment.
Police said Anderson suffered minor injuries. She was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
8:17 a.m. Feb. 7 — An SUV driven by Jeffrey A. Buck, 20, of Adrian, Armstrong County slid on snow and slush, struck an embankment and rolled over, landing on its wheels and hitting a tree along Mitchell Hill Road just west of East Butler Road in Summit Township.
Police said Buck was able to get out of the vehicle and he was not injured. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
7:47 a.m. Feb. 7 — A car driven by Jeanine Gravatt, 56, of Butler struck an embankment on Unionville Road just west of Maser Road in Center Township. She was not injured, but her car had to be towed.
6:15 a.m. Feb. 7 — Aaron M. Reichert, 23, of Harmony lost control of his car and struck a utility pole along Route 108 just east of Ashley Lane in Worth Township. He was not injured, but his car had to be towed.
5:43 a.m. Feb. 7 — No one was injured when a sport utility vehicle driven by Christopher J. Cicco, 48, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Gary R. Franz, 57, of West Sunbury collided on Route 68 just east of Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township.
3:43 p.m. Feb. 6 — William P. Cashmere, 64, of Butler was injured when the car he was driving struck a pickup truck while turning at Route 422 west and Moran Road in Clearfield Township. Bryan M. Carpenter, 31, of Cumberland, Ohio, was the other driver.
Police said Cashmere suffered an apparent minor injury. He was cited for making an improper turn.
3:21 p.m. Feb. 6 — Kenneth C. Paugh, 41, of Chicora lost control of his pickup and struck a guardrail on Route 38 in Concord Township. He was not injured, but his truck had to be towed. Police cited him for disregarding traffic lanes.
