Walker Allison’s 76 paced Slippery Rock’s golf team to a 3rd-place finish at the Mercer County State Bank Invitational, held Thursday at Mt. Hope Golf Course.

The Rockets finished with 332 strokes in the 19-team event. Grove City finished first with 312 strokes.

Girls Golf

Kendall Grossman carded a 53 to lead Moniteau to victory in the first KSAC Megamatch of the season Thursday at Foxburg Country Club.

The Warriors shot 173, well ahead of Cranberry’s 198.

Moniteau also received a 59 from Brynne Barger and a 61 from both Haley Pry and Brittany Ritts.

A-C Valley’s Alyssa Leith led the Falcons with a 59.
