Wednesday — Aeric B. Harris Jr., 23, was arrested for alleged rowdy behavior outside his home on the 400 block of East Locust Street.

Police said Harris got into a street fight and then returned to his apartment. He began screaming and yelling, according to court documents, which caused neighbors to come out of their houses to see what was going on.

The defendant continued to act up, police said, even after officers told him to quiet down. He was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

5:09 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Theresa Karl, 60, of Baden, Beaver County, rear-ended a car as part of a three-vehicle crash on New Castle Road. Tabitha Sperring, 33, of Butler was driving the car.The collision pushed the car into an SUV driven by Kimberly Timmerman, 32, of Butler. No one was injured, but two of the vehicles had to be towed.Police cited Karl for driving too fast for conditions.4:39 p.m. Monday — One person was injured in a four-vehicle crash on Route 422 east just before the Lyndora exit. Police said the wreck occurred when a pickup truck driven by Timothy Shick, 35, of New Bethlehem, Clarion County, struck a car stropped in traffic prior to a construction area.The collision forced the car driven by Jennifer Flint, 39, of Butler into a car driven by Michael Calafiore, 54, of Butler. After the initial collision, Shick's truck veered to the right and hit a tractor-trailer driven by Japal Mahal, 35, of Ontario, Canada.Flint was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police cited Shick for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving too fast for conditions.

11:21 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Curtis W. Stepp, 61, of Saxonburg struck a ditch. He was not hurt in the hit-and-run wreck, but his truck had to be towed.Police cited Stepp for failing to immediately notify police of an accident, careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes and driving on the wrong side of the road.2:45 p.m. Sunday — A 56-year-old Clarion County woman was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after her car traveled across the opposing lane on Route 58 in Eau Claire and ended up being stuck in the mud.Police did not identify the Rimersburg woman. Charges, according to a police report, are pending lab results.4:34 a.m. Sunday — Nicholas L. Claypoole, 32, of West Sunbury escaped serious injuries when he lost control of his car, causing the vehicle to go off the road and barrel roll on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.Claypoole, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered apparent minor injuries. His car had to be towed. Police cited him for driving at an unsafe speed.4:31 p.m. May 31 — Sport utility vehicles driven by Larry B. Nulph, 83, of Butler and Andrew S. Dickson, 53, of West Sunbury collided on North Duffy Road at the Abie Abraham Medical Center in Center Township.Police cited Nulph for making an improper turn.2:21 p.m. May 31 — A 17-year-old West Sunbury girl was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in Center Township. Police did not identify the girl, who was treated at the scene for unknown injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.The teen lost control of her car, according to a police report, and struck a guardrail on Route 308 just north of Old Route 308. The car rebounded off the guardrail and traveled into the opposing lane where Arnold B. Huff, 46, of Eau Claire, who was driving an SUV, was unable to avoid hitting it.Police said they cited the girl for careless driving.5:33 p.m. May 29 — A pickup truck driven by Jonathan D. Lawson, 33, of Sarver hit a traffic sign and landscaping rocks. He was not hurt, but his truck had to be towed. Police cited him for disregarding traffic lanes.May 29 — A glass jar filled with about $250 in change — quarters, dimes and nickels — was stolen from a 44-year-old man's home on Lone Pine Way in Brady Township.Police said they found no forced entry at the house.

22:11 p.m. Monday — Three boys escaped from the George Junior Republic juvenile detention facility in Pine Township. The escapees were described as black and ages 15, 16 and 17. Two of the youths were caught.
