Thursday — Chelsey L. Foy, 22, was charged with three counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor stemming from a June 24 incident at her home at the Greenview Garden Apartments.
Police were called to Foy’s apartment about 11:40 p.m. for a noise complaint. Officers got there and found three youths who had been drinking alcohol.

June 21 — Sheryl Ann Keenan, 55, of Butler was charged in connection with a shoplifting incident the prior week at a store at the Greater Butler Mart on Route 8 south. She is accused of taking $19.46 in merchandise about 5:35 p.m. June 15 at Friedman’s supermarket.
Keenan is charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft.

5:10 a.m. Saturday — Anita S. Gilliland, 49, of Butler lost control of her car and struck a guardrail on Route 422 west in Franklin Township. Gilliland told police the accident happened when a deer ran onto the road.
Wednesday — Jacob C. Hoover, 25, of Slippery Rock was charged with drunken driving stemming from a one-vehicle crash in Slippery Rock Township. Police said he was injured June 9 when his car struck a guardrail at Branchton and Franklin roads.
Hoover reeked of alcohol and he showed signs of being intoxicated, according to court documents. He allegedly admitted drinking “several beers” at a nearby bar while watching the Pittsburgh Penguins game.
He was taken to Grove City Medical Center for medical treatment. He refused to submit to a blood test.
In addition to driving under the influence, Hoover is charged with disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.
Wednesday — Police charged an Armstrong County man with having marijuana and other contraband after a traffic stop May 30 in Franklin Township
The suspect, Daniel J. Richardson, 25, of Leechburg, was a passenger in a car that was stopped about 9:05 p.m. for going 78 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 422 east near the South Shore exit.
Police smelled marijuana inside the car, which had three occupants, court documents said. Richardson later allegedly admitted that he had marijuana in the back seat, where he was seated.
A search of the vehicle, police said, turned up a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana, a marijuana pipe and grinder and other contraband.
Richardson is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police also cited the car’s driver, Joshua T. Harbison, 22, of Monroeville, Allegheny County, for speeding.
Wednesday — Police charged Katie M. Defonde, 31, of Ellwood City with having heroin and other contraband in connection with a drugged driving arrest June 13 in Worth Township.
A patrol trooper about 12:20 p.m. pulled over Defonde on West Park Road where she noticed that the defendant’s sport utility vehicle had no visible inspection sticker, court documents said. One of her brake lights also wasn’t working.
The officer said the defendant appeared nervous and her hands were shaking. While Defonde was outside the vehicle, police saw her try to hide two stamp bags of suspected heroin inside her pants, documents said.
Police said they searched her and her vehicle and found two empty stamp bags of suspected heroin and two syringes. She allegedly admitted to using heroin about 2 a.m. that day.
Defonde was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, which showed the presence of marijuana and a metabolite of drugs including heroin.
She is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and three traffic violations
June 22 — Nicholas A. Edwards, 23, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence of marijuana and alcohol in connection with a June 4 traffic stop for passing a trooper’s cruiser with his high beams on in Brady Township.
Police said they stopped Edwards’ car about 12:50 a.m. on Route 8 just north of Turk Road after they estimated his speed at more than 100 mph. He had a “strong odor” of alcohol and appeared to be impaired, according to court documents.
After failing field sobriety tests, he allegedly admitted to smoking a bowl of marijuana before driving that night. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test which showed he had marijuana in his system and a blood-alcohol level of 0.074 percent.
Edwards is charged with DUI, driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, reckless driving, failing to carry his driver’s license and not using low beams.
June 22 — Police charged Ivan L. Plesakov, 22, of Pittsburgh with having marijuana and other contraband in connection with a 2015 traffic stop in Muddy Creek Township. Police said they stopped his SUV on Sept. 7, 2015, for going 76 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 422.
Troopers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, court documents said, and Plesakov admitted having the drug in a back pack that was in the SUV.
Police searched the pack and found a small quantity of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette.
Plesakov is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and speeding.
9:10 a.m. Friday — A one-vehicle accident happened on Route 38 in Concord Township.
Matthew Himelright, 39, of West Hickory, Pa., was driving south on Route 38 near Valley Road when his Dodge Ram went off the west berm of the road.
The Ram continued along the embankment and struck a tree head-on before stopping with the vehicle’s driver side on the edge of the embankment.
Himelright and his passenger were not injured. Himelright was cited for speeding. The Ram sustained disabling damage.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Kittanning[/naviga:h3]
3:10 p.m. June 24 — Vehicles driven by David A. Owens, 32, of Templeton and Levi D. Rodgers, 24, collided at Franklin Run Road and Nixon Street in West Kittaning.
4:26 p.m. June 4 — A sport utility vehicle driven by Andrew J. Velicoff, 48, of Butler struck a deer on Route 22 in West Franklin Township, just outside Worthington. Velicoff was not injured but his vehicle had to be towed.
