Butler Township Police7:39 p.m. Thursday — Jack Nulph, 60, of Chicora was at a stoplight on South Duffy Road when his vehicle was rear-ended by a male driver in his 50s who fled the scene in a white van.Tammy Nulph, a passenger in Jack Nulph’s vehicle, was transported by Butler Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital after complaints of pain.Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information regarding the identity of the hit-and-run driver is asked to contact the Butler Township Police Department at 724-285-9600.8:34 a.m. Thursday — A 13-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. He allegedly hit another 13-year-old male in the face twice at Butler Intermediate High School.

State Police, Butler3:25 p.m. Friday — Two vehicles collided on Route 356 in Winfield Township.Police say Matthew R. Ventrice, 20, of Pittsburgh was driving a Toyota RAV 4 south on Route 356 and, while attempting a left turn into a gas station, failed to yield to Adam R. Yoder, 20, of Middlefield, Ohio, who was driving a Ram 1500 north on Route 356, causing a collision.Neither Yoder nor his three passengers were injured. Ventrice and his passenger also were not injured. Ventrice was cited with a turning violation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.8:25 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle hit a tree Tuesday near Fisher Road in Jefferson Township.A 16-year-old male, of Butler was driving a GMC Envoy north on Fisher Road when he swerved to avoid a vehicle that he thought was coming into his lane southbound. This caused the Envoy to veer east off the road, hit a mailbox and then hit a tree, where it stopped.No one was injured. The driver was cited for driving on road laned for traffic.2:03 p.m. Oct. 8 — Joseph Thomas Cummings, 41, of New Castle was charged with furnishing drug-free urine to the Butler County Parole Office during a test for drug use.
