Butler Police2:54 p.m. Monday — John M. Boley, 44, no known address, was arrested on a bench warrant on East Brady Street. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant.1:26 a.m. Saturday — Jacob T. McCall, 19, no known address, and a 16-year-old Butler girl were arrested after they allegedly tried to break into a home at the Shore Street Apartments.Police were called to the apartment complex for a report of a window being broken out in the rear of one of the homes. Two suspects — a male and female — were seen fleeing the scene.Officers searched for but could not find either suspect.The victim told police that she was sleeping when someone threw a rock through the back door window. Police found the rock, between 6 and 8 inches in diameter, on the kitchen floor, according to court documents.Later, police reviewed footage from a security camera at the apartment complex. The video showed two suspects. Officers immediately recognized McCall as one of the suspects.It appeared that he was initially looking through the window at the apartment. He later allegedly picked up a rock and threw it at the apartment. He and the girl, afterward, are seen running away.McCall was arraigned on charges of attempted burglary, conspiracy, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $20,000 bail following arraignment.The girl faces similar charges, as well as a curfew violation, in Butler County juvenile court.7:53 p.m. Friday — Stephanie Ann Barron, 38, of Butler was arrested after she was caught allegedly shoplifting Hot Wheels and batteries at the Pullman Square Kmart store. Police said she placed the merchandise, valued at $84.94, in her purse. She tried to leave the store but was stopped.A search of Barron’s purse, according to court documents, also turned up three opened packs of Suboxone and nine amphetamine pills. Police said she did not have a prescription for the drugs.Barron, who has four prior shoplifting convictions, was arraigned on a felony count of retail theft, and a misdemeanor charge of drug possession. She was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment.6:55 p.m. Oct. 24 — Timothy A. Parker, 59, of Lyndora suffered apparent minor injuries when the passenger-side mirror of a passing sport utility vehicle struck him as he walked along Route 8 south near Mac’s Cafe.The driver, Shirley A. Purcell, 53, of Lyndora, stopped her SUV after the accident and called 911.

Butler Twp PoliceTuesday — Police charged Sarah A. Nelson, 30, of West Sunbury with leaving her 2-year-old son unattended in her vehicle Oct. 28 at Moraine Pointe Plaza. The toddler was found uninjured.Nelson is charged with child endangerment and leaving a child unattended in a vehicle.Tuesday — Cathy D. Clark, 47, of Butler was charged with drunken driving in connection with a call last month for a motorist passed out in a vehicle at North Duffy and New Castle roads.Police said they found Clark about 1:35 a.m. Oct. 15 unconscious in the driver’s seat. She appeared to be intoxicated, according to a police report.She is charged with driving under the influence, disregarding a flashing red light and careless driving.Monday — Julia Ann Revitsky, 34, of Butler was arrested on charges she tried to pass a forged prescription about 6 p.m. Friday at the Walgreens pharmacy on New Castle Road.Revitsky was arraigned on charges of attempted acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud and forgery. She was released on her own recognizance following arraignment.

Grove City PoliceMonday — An unknown suspect cut the lock on a shed in the 1700 block of West Main Street. The incident happened between 6 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.

State Police, Butler5:49 p.m. Sunday — James R. Mayuric, 32, of Natrona Heights, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash on Route 38 in front of Vin & Joe’s in Summit Township.A breath test subsequently showed Mayuric’s blood-alcohol level was 0.165 percent, or more than twice the state’s 0.08 percent legal limit. Trudy L. Claypool, no age given, of Bruin was the other driver.9:30 p.m. Sunday — Joshua L. Pisor, 29, and Brittany L. Christy, 23, both of Hilliards were both found with suspected drugs after police arrested them on warrants at a home in Butler. According to court documents, police had gone to the home in the 200 block of North Sixth Avenue looking for Pisor, who was wanted on a domestic relations warrant. Police said they found him with a Suboxone strip for which he did not have a prescription.Christy was found hiding in an upstairs bedroom in the home. It turned out, police said, that she, too, was wanted on a warrant. She was searched and found with five stamp bags of suspected heroin and a syringe, police said. Police charged both suspects with possession of a controlled substance. Christy also is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
