Man seriously hurt after being hit by vehicles
PITTSBURGH — A Butler County man was seriously injured early Sunday morning when two vehicles struck him as he walked on Interstate 279 northbound in Pittsburgh, state police said.
Dylan M. Engles, 25, of Saxonburg was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with unspecified injuries after the accident shortly before 12:30 a.m. His condition was not known this morning.
Police are investigating but they released few details.
Investigators said Engles was “walking in the roadway” when he was hit. Both drivers stopped after the accident, police said.
