Car fire shuts down lane of 422
A reported vehicle on fire on Route 422 Saturday morning sent crews rushing to Summit Township.
Units from at least three fire departments were dispatched to the eastbound lane of Route 422 at the intersection of Wesley Lane for a vehicle on fire.
Firefighters arrived on scene at 9:45 a.m. and temporarily closed the eastbound lane of the highway, according to scanner chatter between emergency responders.
The scene was cleared at 10:15 a.m.
