Butler PoliceMonday — Police filed a misdemeanor drug charge against Paul H. Stamp IV, 30, of Saxonburg stemming from an apparent heroin overdose in a car about 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Pullman Square shopping plaza.Butler Ambulance Service and Butler Fire Department crews found Stamp unconscious. He was revived with Narcan, according to court documents.A search of his car turned up 15 empty bags of suspected heroin and several syringes. Stamp is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.Monday — Teresa J. Guiste, 40, of Summit Township was charged with shoplifting a utility knife last month at the Rite Aid store on South Main Street. She is accused of taking the $18 item on Aug. 16.Guiste, who has one prior shoplifting arrest, is charged with misdemeanor retail theft.Monday — Police charged Sarah N. Boudoin, 27, of Butler with lying about a traffic accident last month in the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue.Boudoin blamed a Butler Transit Authority bus driver for forcing her car off the road and into a curb about 11 a.m. Aug. 16. The bus did not stop. Police later tracked down the bus driver and the bus, which is equipped with a surveillance camera.The video contradicted Boudoin’s account and showed that the car hit the curb “before the bus is anywhere near the vehicle that (the suspect) was driving.”Court documents noted that the transit authority incurred $500 in costs to investigate the bogus accident report. Boudoin is charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities.5:23 p.m. Sunday — Russell A. Enlow, 33, of Butler allegedly accosted two residents at a home in the 300 block of Pleasantview Avenue. Police said they believe he drove to the home armed with a baseball bat.Enlow is accused of punching Brandi Clutter in her mouth and pushing Anthony Wallace. The suspect drove away but not before hitting a wooden fence at a home on nearby Stone Street. The fence had about $200 in damage. Police charged Enlow with simple assault, criminal mischief and two counts of harassment.11:59 a.m. Thursday — A suspected shoplifter was arrested on felony drug charges after she was allegedly caught with a lot more than just merchandise at the Kmart store at Pullman Square.Police said they found Katie L. Crose, 18 of Oil City, Venango County, with more than 50 stamp bags of suspected heroin and six individually wrapped bags of suspected crack cocaine.The alleged heroin and crack, along with two tablets of buprenorphine hydrochloride, a narcotic drug often prescribed to help treat opiate dependence, were in Crose’s purse.Also in the purse were two bras and several razors that police believe she took from the store.Crose was arraigned on two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.Additionally, she is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft both misdemeanors.She was placed in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail following arraignment.
Grove City PoliceSaturday — Joseph J. Mathieson, 39, of Grove City was arrested after he allegedly assaulted another person during a domestic dispute at a home on Enclave Drive. Police said they also found Mathieson with suspected drugs.He was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and placed in the Mercer County Prison on $15,000 bail.
Middlesex Twp Police10:08 p.m. Thursday — Brittany L. Souders, 26, of Butler Township allegedly fought with a police officer responding to a domestic dispute at a home on Trieste Street.Patrolman Conrad Pfeifer got to the home and separated Souders and her friend. The two women both denied hitting each other, and Pfeifer said he was not going to charge either, according to court documents. But he asked Souders to leave her friend’s home since she and the other woman had just been in a domestic fight.However, Souders did not want to leave and allegedly tried to punch Pfeifer. She also kicked him in the left leg, documents said.Even after officers handcuffed her, police said, she continued to struggle and tried to prevent them from placing her in the patrol car.Once in the cruiser, she began “shaking, yelling and simulating a seizure” and was “spitting and attempting to vomit.”She is charged with resisting arrest and simple assault.
Butler County detectivesThursday — Joei R. Campbell, 24, of Portersville was arrested after authorities turned up several empty stamp bags of suspected heroin in her car parked on West Diamond Street in Butler. County probation officers picked up Campbell on a probation violation before finding the contraband in the car.Detectives charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia.
State Police, Butler3:36 p.m. Saturday — Dustin P. Geagan, 19, of Slippery Rock was hurt when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle and hit a guardrail after sideswiping a car on Route 8 just south of Milheim Drive in Center Township.Geagan, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.The driver of the other vehicle was Angela Pagliaroli of Butler.
